The Telegraph article on Labour's support for a second Ref. was published just before 6pm only, but already there are over 5,000 comments. Incredible interest and excitement on both sides of the argument.

Corbyn is a liability to Labour but a huge bonus to the Tories and the Brexit Party.

No 2nd Referendum is needed, just leave whatever on 29th March.

Correct
The Political Establishment all love more government and less democracy
Norway voted TWICE not to join so their govt shackled them in a different way
France voted NON to the EU constitution and were made to vote again
Ireland voted No and were made to vote again
Holland voted NEE and were made to vote again
The Greeks voted against and had their govt changed for them
The Brexit camp in this country needs to radically up their game politically and grow a pair

The UK does not want a hard border in NI. The EU does not want a hard border in NI. RoI does not want a hard border in NI.
So no need for a backstop.

Just an excuse by the EUSSR to strangle Brexit. The EUSSR isn;t worth spitting on.

Makes you proud....to be?

The UK’s claim to sovereignty over the remote Chagos Islands in the Indian Ocean has been ruled to be illegal by the United Nation’s highest court.
Although the majority decision by the international court of justice in The Hague is only advisory, the judges’ announcement is a further, severe blow to Britain’s prestige on the world stage.

Delivering the lengthy judgment, the president of the ICJ, Abdulqawi Ahmed Yusuf, said the detachment of the Chagos archipelago in 1965 from Mauritius had not been based on a “free and genuine expression of the people concerned”.
He added: “The UK has an obligation to bring to an end its administration of Chagos archipelago as rapidly as possible.”

The UK retained possession of the Chagos archipelago, which includes the strategic US airbase of Diego Garcia, after Mauritius gained its independence in 1968.
The UK government refers to it as British Indian Ocean Territory or BIOT.

About 1,500 native islanders were deported so that the largest island could be leased to the US for the airbase in 1971.

They have never been allowed to return home.

Labour is a waste of space and time !This is not about deal or no deal but taking back the lost control and powers from the bureaucrats in Brussels. Yes to a deal but as an equal partners and terms, if not, No deal is better than a bad deal.
