I would have though that a public announcement of the army getting involved might, just might, make them wake up in Brussels to the fact that they might not get their 39 billion after all. carboard tanks? massive deliberate misinformation in WW2?.

Nope, nobody reads history or thinks for themselves.

Why Brexit is a double-edged sword for Germany: Special report
(a couple of months old but more relevant by the day)
Germany had a €37 billion trade surplus with Britain in 2017: the main reason German exporters “need the British.” More than 10 per cent of all exported goods and services in some German regions go to the UK. The bilateral trade partnership is worth €120+ billion a year.
Germany has much to lose, but also to gain, from Brexit. Britain exports €188 billion in goods to EU countries and commentators have suggested Germany could sweep up some of Britain’s share of the EU market after Brexit.

"I thought you told us all you were a genius IT man. Looking at the above post, my granny could teach you a few things."

I'm sure she could. Knowing the sort of area you probably live in she could suck the lid off a pop bottle and she wouldn't care too much about the flavour! ROFLMAO!

MPs call for resignation of Lloyds Bank CEO. (FT tonight) What is this about?

"A group of MPs have called for Lloyds Bank chief executive António Horta-Osório to resign over the bank’s handling of a fraud that affected scores of small business customers".

Nobody has posted it. New news on old saga.

The bleeding hearts and lefties have ruined Britain. Jeremy Corbyn boasts, that several hundred different languages are spoken in his constituency of Islington. They all know the how to fill out a benefit claim.

We are a FREE country, Tony Blair told us all.

FREE Movement.
FREE Healthcare.
FREE Ante-Natal care
FREE Welfare.
FREE Housing.
FREE to breed.
FREE to Preach
FREE to con.
FREE to pick pockets.
FREE to send for the family.

Lets face it, we are all mugs, we allowed it!!!

2nd referendum with all the TRUE facts on the table instead of the lies of the brexiteers and the lies and scaremongering of the remainers seems a fair way to proceed. The original vote was a farce because the facts and promises were just pure lies and speculation on both sides.

If Mrs May has really said a 2nd referendum is out of the question, and means it, she might actually salvage something of her reputation.

But the remain fanatics never let go, however bad things look for them. The latest is a leaked news item that the army has been put on standby. For what? Even if they think leaving will create civil disorder, that would be in March - why should the army be on alert now, before Christmas?

Answer, it's just the latest manifestation of Project Fear.
