I have a buddy in the US who is very dillusioned with Trump.

Borrowed one and a half trillion for big tax cuts for big Corps and the 2% of richest, they used for share buybacks and ordinary Joe got very little.

Got rid of many regulations brought in after 2008 crash. Has tried to get rid of affordable healthcare. Ties to money laundering by Russia and Saudi. Trump's attorney Cohen got 3 years jail today. Campaign mananger Mannafort facing 20 years.

A real prize of a President!!!

Will it be impeachment or jail for Trump?

This mess is her all doing. All she had to do is to break up from Brussels first and than start new negotiations. But as a remainer she thought the best way was to renegotiate the deal. Bad move. How to they say, "You can't eat your cake, and have it too".

I don't get that careful from where I sit. I read that they are more puzzled by the domestic in-fighting. Even the Swiss have focussed on the Tory Party turmoil. Strange times but is expected. Just read this thread!!!!

.. Italy, France, Greece and more..

Europe is in chaos. I follow euro politics I live them on my travel around Europe, not from the beach (lol)
The backstop has a role to play..

We know from the past
Brussels are fan's of a unite Ireland and that will happens only if Ireland break away from UK and stay in EU AS ONE.
Now, Brussels by taking more power of UK, for example, - pay, obey the rules but not have a say - they knew people of UK will not except the deal.. That lives hard Bretix and Scotland next to break up next. They don't want a strong government in UK but a market to sell their goods.

Listening to the mood music from the EU. I get the impression that they are losing patience.
If they say sod off, no deal, and keep your £9bn per year for the next 4.
They would suffer, we would be ruined.

..be careful, do not tweak the tiger by its tail.

I am not and never have been a fan of Theresa May. But my goodness I have to give her credit for the effort she has put in with her travel to and fro to see the various players. Well done for effort whatever happens tonight.

Saw Heseltine calling for a second referendum if the deal goes down.

An odd situation, many people think that it would be undemocratic not to allow a second referendum, now that we know more.
Others think it would be undemocratic to have one.

Ardent Brexiteers want the original referendum decision to be frozen in time, an irrevocable decision forever. They fear another referendum would rob them of their dream.
Remainers hope that they would win a second referendum with a record turnout and a wide margin.

This would be conclusive and destroy the political hope of Brexit MP,s.
but another strong leave vote would have the opposite effect.

k38. Don't believe what you read.

The Italians are masters of the chaos theory. They have to have chaos to run the country. This out a few minutes ago - Italy promises budget cuts to avoid EU sanctions. Italian prime minister makes concessions.

The UK are amateurs when it comes to chaos, it is not their style, and the chances of being burnt are high. Make hay due to the stupidity of others.

Alp can you explain to me why so many countries are happy to leave Brussels ?Why so many people from all over Europe (even Germans) are unhappy with the way Brussels running thinks ?We know the benefits for example Russia, but the negatives are overweight the benefits
