12/12/2018 15:24 | £ getting stronger. money talks. 'We can do our own deals after Brexit'. what rubbish Companies such as RR. sell to over 60 countries now. There are hundreds of countries that do well worldwide The deals that the EU. can get are excellent because of their size. China/Eu/ISA just slug it out. | careful

12/12/2018 14:19 | Even if she wins the vote today, which I think she will, she still have problem with the deal. But,If she manage to get rid at least of the backstop she wins the yes vote for the deal plus Jeremy Corbyn becomes history. | k38
12/12/2018 14:14 | Can't quite agree with you there, xxxxy, but as far as May is concerned, the description 'quisling' appears to suit perfectly. In a future election, I'll vote for the party that I consider best for this country, which on present showing excludes the Labour Party. | poikka

12/12/2018 13:58 | SKY: At least 158 Conservative MPs have so far claimed they will support Theresa May in the confidence vote according to a Sky News tally which would be enough for her to win. unquote It was clear at PMQs that the majority of the mob behind her were supportive. | polar fox
12/12/2018 13:55 | A good Bretix means we can make deals straight away, if we pay 39 billion we have a say and not backstop Just to name a few and as Merkel said, no renegotiation, a hard Bretix is in order. This Europe is good for Germany not for the rest of European countries. | k38
12/12/2018 13:52 | You could not make it up - now Brady should be fired from his job for doing what you nutters want in too timely a fashion! Shreddies anyone? | aceuk
12/12/2018 13:43 | I should have said 'no deal Brexit nutters'. The 52% will get a good Brexit, but one that does not wreck our economy. Things are looking good if May can get this through. A responsible government will decide what sort of Brexit we shall have. The EU. has its own problems, not just Brexit. But because of their single currency and central bank they will have to stick together. We must strike a good deal with the Worlds largest trading block on our doorstep. Difficult but things are moving in the right direction at last. The worst is now over, always assuming that tonights vote is ok for May. A leadership contest at this time would be suicidal and irresponsible. Lets us know what sort of people we are dealing with. | careful
