I thought - I must be wrong - that open minded was unprejudiced - and willing to consider new ideas?

"Just a warning: you don't seem aware of the many and varied viewpoints leaning towards a new, non-EU direction for the UK."

"Many and varied" which are often just copied and repeated soundbites that don't hold to any scrutiny: Sovereignty, freedom, democracy etc.. etc..

What is your wonderful and varied viewpoint? Let's discuss.

"From a constituency of decent and reasonable and extremely well-educated folk."

Have you seen the demographics for a typical Brexit voter?

"Who have one, and only one thing in common (apart from the education side) - they don't typically shoot their mouths off."

Oh, you mean like Nigel, Francois and Boris?

"That's why the centre of gravity of opinion seems to take people like you (those insufficiently open-minded) by surprise."

I'm never surprised at how many morons and idiots I share the UK cesspit with.

Let's look at the Express tonight.

Headline. "If Biden wins UK will suffer badly - and it will be entirely because of REMAINERS".

Their capitals - get the blame game running..........Lol

chucko, quite the comedian.

If you believe that open mindedness is the true mark of an intellectual then on this thread you will find more tightly closed views than a flight of vestal virgins.
So, by your definition the majority on this thread are a grey cell short of an intellect.

At least you have got something right.

ROFLMAO

I am open-minded when presented with reasonable argument. When you do that I'll reconsider my values as to how open-minded I will be with respect to a certain issue.

I find M2 funny. Laugh a minute (or at least each post of his).

M2, in response to 857, you need to be more open-minded about the degree of lack of open-mindedness you exhibit.

You have no idea about how open-minded I am.

Yes, Oxford colleges are notorious for shooting people they take a dislike to.

That sort of thing doesn't go on at Cambridge, of course.
