05/11/2020 14:02 | FTSE is blue. My HSBC and Santander shares are both Blue. Furlough extended to end March so that will limit defaults... Can't help but wonder what Lloyds Market Makers are up too. Constantly hammering the share price at any occasion. Maybe time the Board got some new Brokers! | crazi
05/11/2020 13:36 | Interesting angle on how counting stopped in places like Georgia, Pennsylvania and North Carolina..... And then the sudden ballot dump of 100% Biden postal votes... | geckotheglorious
05/11/2020 13:25 | Sworn to secrecy Alphorn. Minerve...always opportunity for those with imagination and who are prepared to graft. | cheshire pete
05/11/2020 13:15 | "We should accept the undoubted fact that old people die and concentrate on preserving the economy." So, taking that belief further why don't all old farts lynch themselves tomorrow and save the economy and pension funds the financial burden. By-the-way, to avoid any doubt, that would include YOU grahamite. LOL | minerve 2
05/11/2020 13:13 | cheshire - you dealt with tea from memory??? grahamite - we agree on that. The potential for 'devastation' (a l'Express) is not good. We don't have lockdown here as I have posted elsewhere. The debate over the economic consequences of a lockdown was very short. | alphorn
05/11/2020 13:07 | Watching your Lloyds investment must be like watching mould grow in your kitchen pantry! ROFLMAO! I did warn you. You didn't listen. :) | minerve 2
05/11/2020 13:04 | cheshire Today's gig ecomomy is nothing like your free and hedonistic days gone past. GET REAL! | minerve 2
05/11/2020 13:04 | The BoE sees the economy shrinking by 11% in Q4 2020. All the fault of Boris and the rest of the politicians (except the noble 38). We should accept the undoubted fact that old people die and concentrate on preserving the economy. | grahamite2
05/11/2020 13:01 | Minerve #956 "...if he had found himself on the wrong side of the fence. Sadly, life has been too easy for him..." lol....spent nearly half working life in temporary work pre-gig days with on the face of it no security. It worked very well as all you had to do was work harder than the lazy 'staffies' and that way you created your own security. Enjoyable working as well cos always part of the solution and not the problem. | cheshire pete
05/11/2020 13:01 | Unfortunately cheshire the EU is like your wife: you are still going to have to wake-up and face her in the morning! ROFLMAO! | minerve 2
05/11/2020 13:00 | No doubt cheshire et al lap it up. ;)) | alphorn
05/11/2020 13:00 | "We go our way, they go theirs." And we'll meet again tomorrow to buy and sell goods and services. LOL | minerve 2
05/11/2020 12:56 | Crazy - why have they left so many (parts of the world) in poverty for so long? | aceuk
05/11/2020 12:53 | Walk away Boris. The EU just taking the xxxx just like they have every stage for the past 3 years plus. We go our way, they go theirs. | cheshire pete
05/11/2020 12:52 | QE. BoE injects a further £150bln, taking the total to nearly £900bln, nearly 4 times higher than the Financial Crisis. The US Election is also hitting the markets. I fear mass rioting. Trump has already said he won't accept defeat without a fight, even it means going all the way to the Supreme Court. Who appointed the Supreme Court Judge recently? Coincidence?? | sikhthetech
05/11/2020 12:45 | Is Doris a secret lawyer? Cos other than that, I cant see what is in it for us to stay bound by €U legal red tape. | maxk
05/11/2020 12:42 | Biden is ready for dropping, doubt he will last 4 years!!!Why do they always go for some 'old git' | mikemichael2
