21/10/2020 18:44 | Alph, what max said. | ekuuleus
21/10/2020 18:25 | E - I am not sure how many Commercial ships are armed. My guess is not many other than taking on mercenaries for parts of certain routes. There is a debate from time to time in the RYA about pirates. A friend in (sorry) the SofF was attacked and he saw them off with a flare gun. A dangerous strategy. I would be interested to hear more. | alphorn
21/10/2020 18:14 | M2, I'm not calling you out, well read. | utrickytrees
21/10/2020 18:06 | 2ell I've seen some of the defensive weapons on commercial ships. But hey Minerva, your the bigger capitalist. Why dont you stay in the south of france. Sorry alphorn toninflict him upon you | ekuuleus
21/10/2020 17:53 | Both about as useful with no planes. The canoe slightly ahead as it is a smaller target. ;) | alphorn
21/10/2020 17:08 | "All commercial ships have self defence weapons on them" That's nonsense. Such as, give an example. Even if they did it would be more in respect of frightening off pirates than an aircraft attack and thus much lower in calibre and complexity. Generally it means one gun in the Captain's cabinet. | minerve 2
21/10/2020 16:50 | 'Shortage of poultry workers could hit Christmas dinner' Good, don't like Turkey anyway.Infact we should cancel bloody christmas this year, a right waste of time and cost. | mikemichael2 |
