China broker the terms of the 1997 Hong Kong handover.
They can get stuffed with their threats to retaliate if we ban Huawei...

These threats are a portent of what is to come when the USA is no longer global policeman but the Commies are.

Be afraid.
All of you.

So many UK companies are relying on increasing business with China.
JLR must be very worried about a retaliation from China.
Many universities will be in serious trouble if Chinese students stay away.
This will have a knock on effect on rental property investors in student regions.

We are not strong enough post Brexit to fall out with China.
China/EU/Japan are getting close trade agreements, and the clown in the White House is driving them together.
Let us hope he gets kicked out in November and we must take to chances that the ageing Biden will be better.

Not sure our trade deal with America will be that good for us.They will wish to sell us tons of food to prop up ailing farmers.
The 'buy American' policy will not help.

Hate to say it, but we are now a Vassal state , a junior partner to our old allie.

Never leave your pension IN when you retire, take it all out and pay the tax on the 3/4's that's not tax free. Seems odd I know but you will do better re investing it and have the peace of mind that when you kick the bucket what's left goes to you family and not kept by the pension company. True they may pay your wife part of the pension you were getting but when she goes so does your money that's left.

That's really such bad advice on so many levels.

M2 youd be suprised, I dont deal with anyone who merely wants my services, they have to need them. Consequently I probably have more experience with consultants than yourself & I've got a couple of doctors in the family. What you fail to realise is that much of their time is spent with idiots such as yourself and they are trained to react in a certain way. With me on the other hand they will be much more open because I make them feel at ease.

M2..I gather you don't like many of the posters on here. I have to agree the thread has gone down the tubes of late.

Maybe we could get the Twitter Doc to give the thread a pick me up, after he finishes giving ECT to some of the cretins posting here.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing!

I doubt you ever speak with top medics and consultants. I'm surrounded by them. Perhaps because you are a simpleton you are in awe of them. I'm not a simpleton and see them for what they truly are.
