Alphorn until your in receipt of ALL the facts theres nothing simple about it. Unless you are aware of Cummings role within Sage (are you?) you cant really boil anything down, ever heard of mitigating circumstances....let's see what he has to say later, if it were me I'd just say fk u & resign. In the absence of all other news the guy is being hounded out of a job imo, the media scrutiny is unrelenting...folk need to take a long look at themselves a massive loss if he walks.

No idea what goes through people's minds, but boris is teetering on a knife edge because of this.

Cummings obviously will go (why can't people see that?), Boris will be extrememly lucky to survive.

This is an incredibly bad judgement call from those who's judgement we are supposed to be trusting. It's not only the press, the left, the trouble makers saying this - there are plenty of tories saying the same, fearing the future of the party, seeing a crack for labour, should there be a decent politician in their party, would lever open.

Just thinking what bit of 'no news' is going to replace this Cummings fiasco.

Let's hope it is something really serious like Boris gets a hernia, or Pritti Patel sneezed within six feet of a telephone pole, real meaty scoops so that the small minded little babies can get their chops around it for a really good whine.

Caught SKY News at 11am with Adam 'Give me another Pie' Boulton, just like Minerve and all these pathetic whiners, Boulton spent 15 minutes slamming Cummings, wheeling out the usual hand picked stooges.

Cummings did what anyone would do, he put his family first, nobody caught anything from him and the only injury suffered was Minerve's blood pressure going through the roof as his baby tantrums had to be diverted from Brexit and Boris to the Cummings fiasco.

Neither Cumming nor Boris has behaved like the lowlifes who wished Boris dead, who wished old Brexit voters dead, these evil scumbags are beyond belief.

That includes the whining fat useless blether of lard known as Minerve, lower than a snake's belly!

I find Brexit and this current government obnoxious - but unlike comments made on a thread, and probably made thousands of times by other individuals who I am sure think the same way - I cannot simply just filter Brexit or filter this government. Neither can I complain to the police. No, I just have to accept the detrimental effects it has on my life and the life of my family's for the following decades against our wishes.

You should feel privileged that you can invoke REAL pain and REAL suffering on others and still be on the right side of the law. Some of that REAL pain and REAL suffering will no doubt include suicides due to a situation that Cummings willingly and happily brought into being. He is the one delivering death to others and not just wishing it.

Now grow up and filter me if you don't like what I say.

I wonder if we would have had a very good base in tech and gaming if ignorants in the public had complained and stopped the BBC way of funding decades ago?

No licence fee.
Different funding model.
No BBC Micro.
No nationwide computer literacy program though free-to-air media channels.
No Imagination Technologies, no Graphcore, no Arm Holdings - at least to the strengths they became/are.

None of these, all because armchair ignorant fools can't see beyond their own little TeleTubby land.

The licence fee is by far the closest thing to a poll tax there has ever been in this country. It's surprising some sort of proposal like this hasn't been made before.

I think Bojo was wheeled out yesterday knowing all media questions would be about Cummings...no other Politician would want to get involved answering Cummings saga....probably Cummings idea as well as he would want people to know that he has not been sacked or pushed and the PM has his full support under the circumstances of his actions...few days later Cummings can step down on his own accord and no doubt media will sign him up for Political articles...
