Maybe the Frogs want to change sea lane disciplines, ie. give way to the vessel to starboard on approach! Sorry rules set by the Senior Service when Britannia ruled the waves!

What do they need protection against, or do they just love the status a CD plate brings?

Children at play. Bearish GBP - we shall see how myopic and compare notes in the future. Lol

The British government is in a fresh stand-off with Brussels over delays in granting full diplomatic status to the EU’s representation in London. Senior EU officials said moves to grant the bloc’s delegation the status of a full diplomatic mission under the Vienna Convention — which were presumed to be a formality once the UK had agreed a withdrawal agreement last October — appear to have got bogged down.

Why does England & Wales have to be surrounded by pernicious xxxty little nations that send all their little ×××t's over here to work & run the country down. Then expect us to grant their loans (Ireland) pay their overdraft (Scotland) & subsidise their farms give access to our fishing ground (France). We need to just fkem off.

The herd immunity idea at the start of this pandemic, based on 'expert' scientific advise, was bonkers and led to indecision on introduction of the lockdown and the mess that's followed.

Promoting jobsBy JOHNREDWOOD | Published: MAY 24, 2020We now have the opportunity to get rid of regulations, taxes and charges imposed on  us by the EU as we leave fully at the end of December. We need to use these freedoms to promote faster growth and more employment. The government could begin by repealing the Ports Regulations. These were strongly opposed by our port industry when they were in negotiation, and are not relevant to the UK where our ports are mainly private sector owned competing businesses. It could go on to make the Data Protection legislation less bureaucratic and more effective. The EU system has set off an avalanche of box ticking exercises, often impeding legitimate communication with groups of people who wish to be on mailing lists. Of course we need high standards of protecting sensitive data, but we do not  need a system which stops legitimate sales promotion or information flows  to people who want to be in touch. We need to remove VAT from a variety of items often mentioned here.We need to tear up the fishing regulations and replace them with UK based ones that are kinder to our fish and to our fishing industry.

With almost 5 years to wait before the next G.E., the left wing apparatus is desperate to find something to attack the government with. If it means following the activities of one of the government's top and most effective advisers, then there is always some dead beat they can find to say something derogatory, which few give a monkey about, IF it meant finding someone to say they think they saw a Conservative supporter who was a relative of Jack the Ripper breaking lock down rules, they would.

Didn't realise Scotlands defecit was larger than Greece's. It's about time Boris forced the Jocks into an austerity programme along the lines of the Greeks. If they don't like it, they can have their INDY2 referendum. Let's see who else will fund their irresponsible spending.
