Life has evolved on earth for millions of years so what is it in nature that has created a tool to destroy life such as a virus...
Why let living creatures evolve but have a tool to destroy it.

Makes me wonder

Today the banks are in a strong position because of previous experience and cash to make a fortune out of this mess... that's their job.

OAP's have advantages here if lucky enough to be living on a decent FSP. No change in income levels yet investment opportunities by the score for the willing. Gung Ho!

LSYou are correct about the economic recovery.. it's going to be slow and painful. So people must not have high expectations of the Lloyds share price. Will be a long year before we see the 64/72p.

The data coming in from Spain and Italy is especially upbeat, if they can maintain the drop of infections and deaths then you will find the pressure from business leaders cranking up another notch and the European / UK lockdown could be a thing of the past by as early as May.

I don't think the Economic pressure should or will be underestimated.

Long way to go of course, but it would shoot down earlier theories of the peak being hit in July or August etc and also make it increasingly difficult to justify a long term shutdown.

I'm sure the markets will know about this before us......
