45% tax on footballers and clubs to pay forward to all low paid workers like nurses and cleaners!Kicking a ball can't be more important than a nurse.. this is all wrong!!.Paying millions in bonuses to some bank directors for doing their job when shareholders getting pennies in dividends is wrong. And so on and on....

Maybe this will give society the reboot that's been long required.

People will hopefully awaken to the fact that in REAL terms Harry Kane & Paul Pogba etc are of little / no use to society and it's the low paid Nurses, minimum wage cleaners, shop assistants and delivery drivers etc who REALLY make a difference to peoples lifes.

So who's worth what ?

Is Pogba worth his £290,000.000 per week (Yes, that's £290k per WEEK)

compared to wee Angy on the supermarket till earning less than £200.00 per week ??

You would actually laugh and find it ridiculous if you didn't actually know it to be true.

Sorry about being slightly off topic for this thread, although it is a serious Economic issue.

I only look at my share prices every 15 years, ltbh and all that. So what's the price now, last time theses were £6.20 ish.

Do you recall Lloyds share price when it was at £15+ ?

Recon you can pick this up near 20.10p to 15p when the market price in all those trillions of fiat money gone into the system! ...we'll soon see.

However, can see Lloyds going up to near term back up to 40p ish once we know that the virus has topped and vaccine on its way!

Be very careful...market is very over priced!

Cheers

Why it has to be voted at the agm...why that was not included with all the other cancelations aka div cut etc etc...and what about the bonuses?...win win for insiders in some shape or form...whilst wider shareholders lose lose...

Banning personal guarantees is like signing a blank cheque to fraudsters.

I suppose they can always decline a loan.

The founder of easyJet has ramped up his campaign against the airline’s board by threatening to remove its finance chief and warning it could run out of money by August.

Well, isn't that sad. Didn't stop the fat man taking a dividend of over £60m a few weeks ago did it.

Pull your own wallet out fatso!

DooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooM!!!!

The coronavirus lockdown will cost the UK economy £2.4 billion a day for as long as it lasts.

Consumer confidence has crashed to its lowest level since the financial crisis,

according to two gloomy new reports about the state of the economy.

Shutting down the economy will reduce Britain’s gross domestic product by 31 per

cent as social restrictions prevent businesses from functioning.

Output at hotels, restaurants, retailers, cleaning services, museums and

galleries and manufacturing will more than halve.
