30/1/2020 16:22 | @MR Elbee. Chinese certainly are not on top of it, nor are we being given a fair and accurate picture of what is going on.. As the next few days and weeks will reveal, even to the skeptical. It is strange how many of these outbreaks always seem to centre on china has to be said. Sars was over egged for sure. But the world is a different place to 2002-2003 especially where China is concerned, its involvement in global supply chains, the global economy generally, and how transient its people are!!!! Pays to be careful imo and take the necessary precautions whilst keeping tabs of developments. | ![]() crossing_the_rubicon

30/1/2020 16:13 | There’s a deadly virus spreading from state to state. It preys on the most vulnerable, striking the sick and the old without mercy. In just the past few months, it has claimed the lives of at least 39 children. The virus is influenza, and it poses a far greater threat to Americans than the coronavirus from China that has made headlines around the world. - USA Today Best not tell that dunderhead Wilbur Ross the real facts, eh? | ![]() minerve 2

30/1/2020 16:01 | corona virus is milder than flu, about a tenth as bad as Sars and the Chinese are on top of it. But dont let the facts get in the way of a full scale panic Most of the deaths were elderly and would have died anyway | ![]() mr.elbee

30/1/2020 15:51 | Soon be outside of the Prison EUSSR.Sydney Ashurst , Thursday, January 30, 2020, 09:32:Was Mairead McGuinness cutting off Nigel Farage's speech a typical show of the totalitarianism of the EU Parliament and Commission. The Commission run by unelected officials is a travesty of democracy.Every time I see Marcel Barnier, the top EU bureaucrat on television I am reminded of Yes Minister. That superb mockery of a runaway administration - the tail wagging the dog.Unfortunately we will be seeing and hearing a lot from Monsieur Barnier this year. | ![]() xxxxxy
30/1/2020 15:51 | The UK government (Boris/Cummings) are in an untenable position when it comes to Indy 2. Their argument is weak and will not stand-up to continual public scrutiny, especially as #BrexitFail and #BrexitLies become apparent. | ![]() minerve 2

30/1/2020 15:42 | A bit more on running down the PPI claims process: "We [FCA] are now aware that the volume of PPI checking enquiries and complaints sent to firms increased significantly during August 2019 in the run-up to the complaints deadline on 29 August. As a result, firms may not be able to meet their normal complaint handling times [8 weeks]. While firms have large operations in place to deal with PPI complaints, a number of them have informed us that you may not receive a final response to your complaint until summer 2020." | ![]() m4rtinu
