if the tories want to win the election by a landslide they should revoke article 50.

A sigh of relief all around.

out of 46m voters garage can have his 8m
half will be from labour, half from the tories.

Unlikely to happen but you are barking up the wrong tree thinking that people are gagging for Brexit.

Brexit, flared trousers, flower power...yesterdays fads.

Move on, get with the programme.

careful, if you don't understand what the word "automatically" means then it's hard to have a meaningful discussion.

Leaving will happen on the 31st unless someone takes active steps to change that. There is no way for Parliament to force the PM to take such steps, certainly no way for them to force the EU to agree.

Simply repeating "There will be a deal, or an extension" ad infinitum does not make it so.

Labour MP @KateHoeyMP is spot on when she says Labour and the Conservatives will be decimated at a General Election if they fail to deliver Brexit.

Politicians must deliver on their promises, the @brexitparty_uk is ready and waiting if they don't!

“The Withdrawal Agreement was an elaborate snare to try to stop us leaving” – exactly so! And what does that say about T. May and all those who supported her?

Exactly – Hunt being one of them. He backed her and her surrender treaty to the end and he wants us to back him for PM. The same Hunt who is attacking Boris on the airwaves this morning calling him a coward. If anything this blue on blue attack is cowardly and unseemly and if he (Hunt) becomes PM then the Tory party are finished. Long live the Brexit party.

They certainly aren't welcome in the neighbourhood if they believe it is acceptable to scream and shout in the early hours of the morning.

Kick 'em out!

The above post from the twisted tiny mind of Minerve...wakes up every morning angry at the world. Don't worry Minnie, if Corbyn gets in, your little bit of wealth will soon be gone..

Swiss to ban EU stock exchanges as row with Brussels escalates

James Crisp, brussels correspondent
24 JUNE 2019 • 2:55PM

Switzerland will ban European Union stock exchanges from trading Swiss shares in retaliation for Brussels freezing its bourses out from the EU market.

The European Commission refused to grant Swiss stock exchanges access after its patience ran out during negotiations over a long-delayed partnership treaty.

“Equivalence”, the system of regulatory recognition used to govern access for financial services in non-EU countries, will now elapse on July 1.

In retaliation Bern said it would withdraw recognition from trading venues in the EU from July 1 to "protect the Swiss stock exchange infrastructure in the event of non-extension."

"Trading venues in the EU would thus be prohibited from offering or...

There is every reason to believe he can't deliver

Why? All he needs to do is wait while day follows day until we leave by default.

Overcoming a democratic vote with a democratic vote? Scared that the so-called will of the people is to remain. What happens next? A few pensioners smash up tea rooms?

The Brexit Party was launched in April 2019 to ensure that the UK leaves the EU – and to change British politics for good.
In June 2016, 17.4m people voted Leave – the biggest democratic mandate in British history. But Brexit has been betrayed by the government and MPs.
We stand for a clean-break Brexit, by the new deadline of 31st October, that will enable us to take control of our laws, borders and money.
This is not only about the EU. It is about what sort of democratic country we live in.
We’re out to challenge the self-serving two-party system, make the people sovereign, and restore trust in our democracy.

There is every reason to believe he can't deliver, but we all have different definitions of delivering Brexit.
May argued her deal would deliver Brexit and we would leave the institutions whilst still keeping close ties in important matters.

but you must be worried about ties to Steve Bannon.
He is an isolationists deplorable character.

Is Boris lining up to be Trumps poodle?
So much for 'taking back control'.
That would really make us a vassal state.

As a Conservative party member I was leaning towards Boris but prepared to give Hunt a chance and listen to what he had to say.

But not now . In the appaling witch hunt surrounding the everyday occurance of a man and woman having an arguement Hunt has picked up his pitchfork and joined the hate filled left wing remainer mob in trying to take Boris down.

If Hunt had stood aside and behaved with dignity and non involvement I would have had respect for him as a serious potential leader/PM

Sorry Hunt. It is definitely Boris for me.

The cult of Boris.
As time passes you worshippers will come to deny that you ever supported him.

It's very possible. No politician is hated more than one who fails to deliver on his promises (e.g. N Chamberlain).

But for the time being Boris is by far the best we've got and there's no reason to believe he won't deliver.
