"I am happy with my lot"

People who tend to say that are not. Why say it otherwise?

Vulgarity is being in a privileged position whilst ignoring the poverty and suffering of others. Plenty of that on this thread.

LOL

I had been given the impression that talking about money was vulgar

talking about how rich one is, certainly not acceptable

never parking the aston martin suv outside the house would never be given a thought

respecting people was fundemental

working hard and paying ones way a norm

i am happy with my lot

No need to get envious because you didn't qualify for a Coutts bank account. Stick with Woodford and Nationwide you loser.

I have no interest in upticks. In this company they mean nothing and carry no weight.

Real life is more important to me, and I know for sure, that in real life I eat pathetic chimps like you for breakfast.

You are ALL MOUTH and no action.

Scottish GDP is about 12% of total UK GDP, and much of that is because of its relationship with the mainland.

It would be bad for both parties, and Wales could be next.

The Fab Four Scotland, Wales, Ireland, England.
Better together than apart.

Bob, do you live in England? how we would treat Scottish immigrants after independence would need to be sorted.
Maybe we can arrange to get a temporary visa for you.
And we will try to stop your property being confiscated.
Maybe a bit more tax would suffice.

Serious question , without Scotland could a Brexit England and Wales survive on its own . Chances are it may need to reapply to the EU .

bargainbob. wake up you Ned, Scotland would be like it's ladies footy team, all but useless. As a Scot, I am glad I am living down South, but I have to say Boabby, Scotland won't see independence in your lifetime, the Scots aren't all as daft as yee!

bob..I hope Scotland get independence, it will mean we no longer have to listen to the whining Scots. Considering just over a million Scots voted Remain against 17.4 million Brits who voted Leave, we don't need them in Westmister and I would say good riddance to the clods who so badly represent the Scots who are mad enough to have voted them in.

Also if Scotland become part of Europe imo they will sink into oblivion. That is if Europe allow them to become adopt the Euro, it will be a long tough negotiation.

Bob, I and many others would say to Scots wanting indepenence, be careful what you you wish for.

Some of us conduct our private lives much better. Some of us think very carefully about living with others we don't truly know. Some of us have integrity. Some of us are reluctant to change without first having a very good idea that change will be beneficial.

Then there are Brexiters......

So we get a hard Brexit and a likely break up of the Union or Parliament blocks it and we get a forced general election resulting in a Sturgeon/ Corbyn government with a deal on a second Scottish referendum. The FTSE 250 is holding up surprisingly well with no conceivable middle road like a
May deal . Hard Brexit or Corbyn government will cause a major reversal on domestic stocks in particular.
