fatnacker: This is the source I used earlier:

A Commons spokesman said signature patterns are investigated to check for fraudulent activity and suspect signatures are removed, including those that are "clearly bots".

My my, the Remoaners are out in force here this afternoon with their detailed arguments for Remaining including the latest research that says that Remoaners have a higher IQ. I think that was all, though....

Got to admit, I do struggle to remember stuff I was taught at school, and I didn't go to Uni; although I did spend a 1 year and a half at college studying for my various certificates. But, having spent a working life at sea, I have learnt to think for myself, see all aspects of situations before reaching a decision, and overcome immense obstacles; so I reckon that that's worth more than a high IQ - not that I've ever tested mine.

And judging by the complete lack of any effective arguments by Remoaners on here, I'd say that if they have high IQs, then that means sweet sodall.

Demolished them again - zapped by the sea wolf, Lupo :)

So much information.. so many traps.. if all this explained to the British public I am sure no one would have voted to stay.

Leavers were fed a simplistic lie and they fell for it. The ones shouting for a no-deal exit are simply ignoring the information that is being put in front of them. Not often that the leaders of the CBI and the TUC have agreed on anything but of course, because they put their signature on the original voting paper, many are unwilling to consider that their original protest vote was actually a bad idea. To keep quoting 17.4m voted 'Leave whatever' is just nonsensical and betrays an astonishing level of ignorance. Great Britain, this whole fiasco has shone a bright light on just what this place is populated with. We always knew many of our politicians were self-serving and incompetent, so hands up all those who thought they could deliver Brexit. Really? You didn't think that far ahead then?

'RECORD PROFITS!' Wetherspoons boss reveals why Brexit vote has BOOSTED business

WETHERSPOONS boss Tim Martin insisted British business will thrive after Brexit as

he revealed how since the vote to leave the European Union his business has

seen record profits shooting the lights out.

During a fiery debate with businessman Edmund Weil, the Wetherspoons founder

insisted business will continue to benefit from Britains decision to leave the

European Union. Mr Martin outlined how business can gain from Brexit and told Sky

News: I think there are a lot of gains because I think ultimately the resilience

and success of the economy and freedom depends on democracy and the EU is becoming

more undemocratic with its unelected presidents and so on. You can look around the

EU today and see terrible problems in Greece, no growth more or less in Italy

since the eurozone was started. I don`t think it`s a good economic example

But Edmund Weil, who is the owner of Speakeasy Entertainment, said following the

Brexit vote the British people have less money in their pocket and are ultimately

spending less.

When asked by Sky News host Adam Boulton if Mr Martin agreed, he replied: No. We

have done really well and put on a tremendous amount of trade over the last three

years, record profits shooting the lights out.

The pub industry as a whole has been doing quite well.
