Having read through the interims I concur with those who believe a cash raise will be upon us in the next few months. The company appears to be using cash at around £1m per month so will need a bit of a cash buffer hence my thoughts of a few months. I am unable to determine what level of operational gearing the company has but I suspect around 50% hence if a big order comes in ( I guess this will be linked to the cash raise) then I suspect some will be outsourced, which the CEO has previously confirmed. This will of course reduce the margins from those it achieved the past. The cash raise, when it comes, will not only be required for ongoing R&D but also to fund set up and initial production costs (unless they factor invoices) so I can foresee it being quite significant. I remian happy with my holding although no longer adding.

13p ...Christ, looking grim here. IF there is good news lurking as Simon Thompson believes Basu needs to pull it out the bag quick. Give us something... Anything!

he's totally lost the plot...

...now obsessed with geo-politics just like he was obsessed with blogging non-stop about Kromek being tipped in the Investors Chronicle.

Hahaha. Biggest laugh yet.
"The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) released a request for information (RFI) seeking commercially available mobile radiation detection systems to aid emergency responders on a broad spectrum of radiation detection missions."

So then. They are not already aware of kmk. OMG

DETECTION RADIATION
PUBLISHED ON 07 FEBRUARY 2022

Kromek have to have a fair chance with this requirement too I think.

I really don't think Russia is going to go into the Ukraine (any more that they are). Russia just wants instability in the region. Instability means that NATO won't accept Ukraine into NATO. The Donbas region is already evidence of that (instability = Ukraine not accepted into NATO). Also, the EU don't want to accept the Ukraine, due to the potential en masse migration from the Ukraine.

I'm sure in the immediate and mid-term, the EU and NATO will now be thinking about Russia more carefully with any decisions they make. That is Putin's objective already achieved. He wants Russia's interests considered on the international stage. The EU want to keep their gas flowing, certainly for the foreseeable. With a potential gas supply cut looming, they will consider Russia's interests more carefully.

Putin will keep the tanks there, just as a message "you know that I can invade if you allow Ukraine to become part of NATO". So long as the tanks are there, NATO will always think twice before allowing the Ukraine into NATO. Putin's goal is accomplished.

The consequences for Russia invading are epic for Russia!

- Occupation of Ukraine would be financially massive for Russia
- Strong resistance from insurgent groups (financed by NATO I imagine)

- The invasion would actually increase NATO's presence on Russia's borders
- Poland, Estonia, Sweden's defense budgets going through the roof
- US airbase in Finland...?
- This is the exact opposite of what Russia wants!

- End of European complacency of gas supply from Russia
- Cancellation of Nord Stream 2
- Russia's only option is to sell gas cheaply to China
- US wants to export gas too
- Only winners here are the US (can sell more gas) and China (buys cheap gas)

- Sanctions overload against Russia
- Complete cut off financing to Russia
- Removing Russian banks from the SWIFT system
- Dollar ban on Russian banks
- Complete destruction of Russian economy

The only winners here are the US and maybe China.

AQC, really? First you incessantly hype the share and tell everyone to buy because… because... Then you tell everyone to consider selling and push off on holiday. Honestly, I’m glad you’re off for half term so I don’t have to listen to you for a while. I’m confident that we have many sensible shareholders here who can see the value in simply holding as this company’s valuation is small relative to the growth potential of the technology, despite the reservations about the CEO etc. and even if a placing is needed sometime. Any further share price fall would just make it better value in my opinion and I’d consider adding.
