14/4/2022 21:59 | It’s good to see how adept the board at Kromek are to understanding what shareholders will be looking for next after all the dreams of “multi billion pathogen detector sales” have evaporated and shareholders are looking into the abyss of financial collapse within months… They are one step ahead, you’ve got to give them credit for that. But what can you offer shareholders when they are holding a rapidly disintegrating business with limited life left in it and all the promises of past haven’t come anywhere near to be delivered on? The break-up value! They’ve identified a part of the business which could be sold. Horray - please note the incidental evidence of skid35 on lse that Kromeks CZT business is not comparable with Radlans. What’s going to happen after they sell the only profitable part of Kromek for £50+m?? Let me guess - they will do exactly the same as they did with the money from every fundraising up till now… let me guess the rough drift of the Kromek statement “the sale of the only profitable part of our business will secure the future of our R&D and help us achieve great sales into the future”. Shareholders will not get a penny and the money will disappear into the same pit all the other tens of millions have disappeared into. But one thing is for sure. They will have a new exceptional opportunity offering great wealth shareholders need to hang around for. | aqc888
14/4/2022 21:27 | Bought out??? ha ha ha zero sign of any institutional buying or stake-building whatsoever. | quepassa
14/4/2022 20:47 | So, what price will KMK be bought out at? Anyone care to start with their estimate? | b00mb0y
14/4/2022 20:14 | A long time this will be bought out next few months imho | senttothegallows
14/4/2022 20:02 | How long will Kromek be able to cling onto 10p before it plummets to 5p? | aqc888
14/4/2022 10:09 | So many brighter more diversified opportunities with boards who constantly over deliver at every update. Look at Frontier IP or Augmentum Fintech. Both have an array of exciting high growth opportunities in their portfolios. | aqc888

14/4/2022 08:17 | Kromek is a company which is forced to survive on opaqueness and half truths. They have a very weak hand to play and constantly delay playing it. Mark my words, you won’t see management buying any even when it hits 5p, it’s a weak company with a weak board. The warning signs were there long ago when the board didn’t partake in the last fundraising and allowed huge dilutions. | aqc888
14/4/2022 07:52 | I’ve now sold my last remaining holding in Kromek. Despite the very innovative technology and future potential, that no longer outweighed the following short term risks I see: Need to raise cash: I believe they will soon need to raise equity funds on a low and recently falling share price. Given the low share price, I see big dilution for existing shareholders for the £ amount that they require and there’s a risk that any placing will be undersubscribed. Downside risk of not achieving the year end revenue forecast. The year-end is just two weeks away. That forecast was skewed to the second half of the year and there’s been no update. Continuing lack of orders for new products, and lack of communication from the company as others have mentioned. There is some potential short term upside from the sale of all or part of the company, who knows what might be announced? However a potential buyer might prefer to wait to see the results for the financial year about to close or wait to see what happens on the funds raise in case it gets cheaper still. Such a pity. I’ve held shares in Kromek for a long time. However there are many more companies for me to invest in with a better risk / reward profile. | charlie_bucket
13/4/2022 10:45 | I've been tracking this for some years since Simon Thompson tipped it. Just shows how dangerous it is to follow tipsters | estienne
07/4/2022 07:57 | slicethepie. did you manage please to track down how much Cadmium Zinc Telluride is produced or sold by Kromek annually? i can't trace any figures/stats at all. by the way, Kromek say on their web-site that they are one of four (not two)companies to produce czt. all imo. dyor. qp | quepassa
05/4/2022 22:25 | I think some investors in Kromek are suffering from a form of Stockholm syndrome. Whereby they are keen to look for any explanation as to why it’s all falling apart in front of their eyes and keen to excuse Kromek for the continuing and never ending failure. Is there a single thing Kromek has ever done that has exceeded market expectations? Even when they do announce some good news - the market fully expects a screw up and the share price falls. | aqc888
05/4/2022 20:50 | Well that wasn’t so exiting to read (prince of wales visit) hope the prince enjoyed himself! | b00mb0y
05/4/2022 20:22 | Some people may have been selling to realize their losses in order to reduce their capital gains liability before the end of the tax year. The new tax year starts tomorrow we will see if there is a slight improvement. | share holder
05/4/2022 15:22 | Shame the Board of Directors don’t agree with you Petersw1. Doesn’t matter how low this goes they never seem to think it’s too cheap | aqc888
05/4/2022 14:49 | I've just topped up. Looked too cheap to resist after having some funds available. | petersw1
05/4/2022 13:53 | New all time low. Sub 10p now. Not really surprising given years and years of under-delivery against all those unfulfilled promises of wonderful things tomorrow. all imo.dyor. qp | quepassa
05/4/2022 12:50 | This needs new management or to be sold. Nobody has any faith in this management who can never deliver and have near to zero exposure to Kromeks stock performance. It’s a complete failure of corporate governance and they need to go. To sit in their offices year after year of failure with near to zero stock in Kromek on £300k+ is an outrage | aqc888
04/4/2022 15:32 | 2 large sales popped up. Wonder if that has been dragging the share price down recently? | mdchand
04/4/2022 10:55 | Just more general waffle in a new Kromek interview on ProActive Investors today. Listen to it. hXXps://www.proactiv Even mentions the new multi-billion defense budget by Germany as if that will somehow magically rub off on them. But what they weren't quite so vocal about was that Kromek closed down its German subsidiary around 2020/21 and no longer have an office and physical presence in mainland Europe. Not very convincing. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
04/4/2022 09:33 | Ahh m, is this the nuclear tenders we were told about by the CEO and ST that were to be in the “tens of millions”̷ “In addition, the company should be a major beneficiary of the UK Government’s recently announced £329m five-year nuclear detection budget. Not only does Kromek have a robust product offering in key areas of border control and terrorism threat detection – its dirty bomb detectors are now used in 25 countries, for instance – but post-Brexit, Kromek is only one of two UK companies offering this type of radiation technology.“ | aqc888
04/4/2022 09:05 | That is a very good question/topic - and one which has puzzled and baffled me for a long time. Because I originally thought this company majored on CZT applications when they floated some eight or nine years ago. I thought that's what they were all about. They apparently wanted to be the equivalent of the "Intel Inside" for scanning equipment using their CZT applications. Now we hear relatively little about CZT and it's the new whizzbang products like the mechanical ventilators or the pathogen detectors using biochemistry. Neither of these are czt based to the best of my knowledge. Please tell me the following. How much CZT did Kromek produce or sell: 1. In 2015 2. In 2018 3. In 2021 Please give me your answer either in weight/volume or, failing that, in amount of annual sales of czt. You see, if I look on Alibaba, CZT seems readily available to buy commercially from multiple sellers. Go to Alibaba.com and search Cadmium Zinc Telluride and you'll see it readily available for sale in many forms. Interested and looking forward to your response about how much CZT is produced/sold by Kromek. Thank you. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
04/4/2022 08:42 | Ps they have 160 furnaces making czt | slicethepie |
