31/1/2022 14:03 | AQC888 I'm not too bothered about ST/IC but... ST/IC has been following KMK for some time, which does bode well for more coverage. It wasn't just a 1-hit from last year (as I thought), but back to 2017. There's an interesting KMK potted history in that chart. Of course, I prefer to get some real sales, much more than an IC/ST tip. | dougmachin

31/1/2022 12:56 | Cenkos Detection technology specialist Kromek Group PLC (AIM:KMK, FRA:4KM) is ‘materially undervalued', according to a City broker Cenkos Securities, whose comments followed the take-out of the group’s only independent competitor. Redlen Technologies was snapped up by photocopier and camera maker Canon Inc in a deal that values the former at US$270mln. Like Kromek, Redlen specialises in cadmium zinc telluride (CZT) detectors. “Kromek’ “The read-across valuation for this division alone suggests Kromek is materially undervalued, and we see fair value in excess of 50p.” | aqc888

31/1/2022 12:43 | Kromek are likely to break out they are a sitting duck for a bid at this price. Broker has it at over 50p interesting times IMHO | senttothegallows

31/1/2022 10:35 | Nick, that’s just one of the three events that could act as a significant catalyst to Kromeks share price. A more significant event than what you outlined above would be a government order for bio security defences, an order here could generate sales in the hundreds of millions - as per the analyst Hunt at equity development stated. He forecast a market of £500m per year. Of which he believes Kromek could gain a 20% market share. I believe this is a huge underestimate looking at the figure Congress in the US were talking of last month. As the ceo stated Kromek are in “serious discussions with multiple governments”. The final and most likely near term catalyst will be the results of the nuclear detector tenders, which are in the tens of millions and due to be announced in the coming months. Finally this Friday Kromek have a good chance of being included in Simon Thompson’s annual pick m - which would see a further 10-20% gain. A good year ahead that Kromek chart above is going in only one direction and I’m excited to see my position is up 20%. I will certainly not be tempted to even consider selling my Kromek below 30p | aqc888
31/1/2022 09:26 | I loved this bit from ST's piece:- "Basu also revealed the potential to split out the group’s two distinct business units – chemical, biohazard security, radiation and nuclear (CBRN) activities comprise the other one. The fact that the directors have segmented the two operations in the results presentation is telling. The point is that a medical imaging OEM looking for security of CZT supply could be tempted to make a bid for that part of Kromek’s business, which analyst Mike Jeremy at Equity Development values at £225m. He also highlights the undervaluation of the CBRN business, which could generate half of group revenue of £18m in the 2022/23 financial year, and could be worth £54m." Current m/cap £74m v a potential (based on the above)£274m value or 64p a share. I can't quite see that amount of upside this year, but as investors saw with the likes of ITM Power, momentum and institutional interest are powerful forces. | nick2412
31/1/2022 08:57 | I like the fact that the board put in the public domain (in the analyst presentation) that they are exploring ways to get shareholder value. One reference was the potential to split the Company and spin off the bio-terrorism detector side. With the growing revenues and, potentially, a spin-off with existing holders receiving shares in any new company, there looks to be more than decent upside here. | nick2412
29/1/2022 10:50 | Analyst Mike Jeremy at Equity Development | aqc888
29/1/2022 09:52 | arc who is Jeremy? | ali47fish
29/1/2022 09:23 | Impressive forward revenue visibility and move to cash generation even with these very prudent forecasts. | strategicinvestor2
29/1/2022 07:31 | According to the Simon Thompson article there is going to be a 0.6m profit in the second half... much of Kromeks costs are fixed. So as we see ever increasing revenues forecast, some of this should drop straight to the bottom line. Chip shortages will be a continuing problem for most of this year it would seem. “Importantly, with 96 per cent of budgeted annual revenue of £15m covered by orders as well as 60 per cent of the £18m revenue estimate for 2022/23, the long-awaited move into cash profitability is on the cards. Jeremy predicts £0.6m cash profit in the second half to 30 April 2022 to wipe out the £0.6m first-half loss, and is pencilling in cash profit of £0.75m in 2022/23. “ | aqc888
29/1/2022 06:28 | Kromek's D5 RIID - Smallest and Fastest RIID with the ultimate detection performance. Video is cringeworthy. Considering the amount of talent out there perhaps they should employ a teenager for their marketing videos for the future. | carcosa

28/1/2022 07:33 | Quepassa you seem to be stuck in a state of purgatory, where your “significant investment” is down 80% but you can’t just let it go and accept the hell you’re in. Nor support Kromek because of the rage you feel towards the ceo. I do pity the place you find yourself in. But you should find comfort that some new investors, such as myself, will benefit from all that cash you gave Kromek to develop IP in the early days | aqc888
