The phrase 'good things come to those who wait' does not apply to KDD shareholders

Currently that equates to a premium of roughly 1p . Surely noone (other than Frank) is going to vote for this ?!?!

pembury -

One last time.

0.4657 FDI shares for every KDD share is locked in.

17p per KDD share is NOT locked in.

@pembury - it can't be a fixed monetary value if it is a fixed number of shares - FDI will trade wherever it trades and you will get a pre-determined number of FDI shares

ws- I am telling you it is locked in. I have phoned and asked
Think about it if it were not it would be so manipulated (shorted) otherwise

Worst price is 17p so anything less would be even more ridiculous

and the market is not putting FDI shares down in order to screw KDD holders... The FDI lot realise that this is a just as bad a deal for them as it is for us. They are an equally small company, already have plenty of projects on their hands, have no financing etc etc.

i hope the deal does not go through, but from experience they almost always do.

pembury - then you were NOT told the truth. Or you didn't understand what you were told.

The deal is at a fixed ratio of 0.4657 Firestone shares for every KDD share.

locked in to that price?
if not this just allows the market to put the price down for Firestone and thus getting screwing holders further

from the RNS:

·      The Acquisition is to be effected by means of a scheme of arrangement
under Part 26 of the Companies Act and values each Kopane Share at 17 pence,
based on a Firestone share price of 36.5 pence.

If it's not 36.5p, KDD won't be 17p...

i'm hanging on to my shares but this is one of the most pointless deals (given the time it has taken) I think I have ever seen.

Now we know why the share price just wouldn't go up. The 'market' nearly always knows.

It's not a fixed 17p. It is 0.4657 FDI shares for every KDD share.

Give it time, i'm sure once people have time to absorb this development we should move back up. 17p offer is still higher than today's 13p.

The most telling statments in the whole farce are

None of the Kopane Directors hold any Kopane Shares. However, Firestone has received an irrevocable undertaking to vote in favour of the Scheme at the Court Meeting and the Kopane Resolution at the Kopane General Meeting from Obtala, a company associated with Francesco Scolaro, the Chairman of Kopane, which holds directly and indirectly 48,695,000 Kopane Shares representing approximately 16.15 per cent. of Kopane's existing issued ordinary share capital

RIDICULOUS

Lilt Man Yes my timing!!! lol

Turns out the offer is dissapointing.I noticed too many buying soon after without realising its not a 17p offer really. Linked to FDI shares which are falling.
