13/1/2019 13:10 | Looks like Haydn could be on the way out according to Sunday Times. | zicopele
09/1/2019 17:49 | ● Liberum restarted coverage of Kier, the construction services group, with a “buy” rating and ➡️ 660p ⬅️ target price. “Kier has a complicated but robust model. Its combination of businesses should result in stable earnings and a resilient balance sheet. Hedge funds have sowed doubts over accounting and the post-Carillion world has proved fertile ground. However, we estimate crude cash conversion of 102 per cent over eight years, which is all the assurance we need.” | minerve
09/1/2019 07:56 | MUrsell let his mate Sean take the infrastructure rap. The business is still in dire situation with massively overstated WIP. | zicopele
08/1/2019 15:44 | Minerve I bought 2000 at 386.......( go with 1000 at 10000 and a 1000 at 742) I had been writing to the senior NED prior to the RI asking him whether he thought Mursell was the right accountant to be running a building firm and whether the NEDs shared his "comfort" with the debt level. I also asked for clarification on the cash flow statements and the actual debt level. Not a great shock that I got no reply and a month later they have the emergency RI. I still think Mursell needs to go - he has misled the shareholders | marksp2011
08/1/2019 14:09 | mark You seem a decent chap, listen, by the time everything is perfect and in place the value in the share price will be long gone. | minerve
08/1/2019 13:52 | Momentum What they have done is put money in the bank. They need to generate sufficient cash flow from daily operations to support the business and pay down the debt. The issue is whether the cash flow is positive and to what extent. If they don't fix the underlying they will be back for yet another fundraise in another couple of years I am hopeful, I would be even happier if Mursell was gone | marksp2011
08/1/2019 12:23 | Mark. no way this should be down this low. Cashflow now sorted and market asleep. Should be trading a lot higher imho. Construction needed post brexit, housing, regen | momentum1
08/1/2019 12:08 | Bla bla bla | marksp2011
08/1/2019 11:51 | From markets live: Overall, therefore, we believe the raise will provide the platform to enable ongoing profit growth and a strong balance sheet, so the shares are now – by far – the cheapest in the sector. | minerve
08/1/2019 10:29 | Bla bla bla. | minerve
08/1/2019 10:28 | Momentum If they sort out the cash flow and stay away from 1% margin business this will be a good company. I am not giving them my hard earned so that they can subsidise the public sector taking on risk from Government. Only an idiot risks billions on 1% margins when a bad weather event can make the whole lot loss making | marksp2011
08/1/2019 09:48 | Mark fair enough but now given that this cloud has been lifted I see very little reason for this to be down here sub 600. Just my two pence but think its a buy sub 500 for sure | momentum1
08/1/2019 09:38 | Momentum "very little reason"............. they were running out of cash. It would have been manageable if Mursell had acknowledged the issue and done something about it hence the afternoon RNS | marksp2011
08/1/2019 09:36 | Bought a load at 417p, one of my better calls. Feel this has some way to go yet so not selling | ayl30
08/1/2019 08:33 | Accumulation continues down here. Can you really blame them given how the market has knocked this with very little reason. Certianly one to watch in 2019 and post Brexit. Back to 750p by Q2 | momentum1
07/1/2019 13:46 | Woodford adding decent chunks on the lows. That 100k buy earlier suggests they are still accumelating. | momentum1
07/1/2019 13:24 | Must say this chart looks like it wants to break out. | momentum1
07/1/2019 13:20 | Zicopele : Doesn't that mean one less competitor for Kier? | nomdeplume
07/1/2019 11:33 | Check it out. Costain is consciously leaving construction. They bought Rheads and are now increasing consultancy significantly. Kier is just risk and inflated WIP. | zicopele
06/1/2019 22:53 | Keep on trying zico! LOL | minerve
06/1/2019 20:51 | Costain is a completely different business model to Kier.cistain becoming more reliant on consultancy. Kier is more geared to risk. | zicopele
05/1/2019 22:50 | Short Tracker Disclosed positions in Kier Group plc (KIE) - (NONE) Notice: We no longer track disclosures after they drop below 0.5%. It is possible that the manager still holds a short position even if we are showing it as zero. eToro Trading Sentiment = 100% buy (not sure what that is but sounds good) | kangaroo joe
05/1/2019 20:23 | Stay on the scene. | minerve
04/1/2019 16:57 | Costain trading update on Thursday probably helping this along. Short positions much reduced - as I expected. The turning point was most likely the days around the rump placement. | minerve
04/1/2019 16:54 | Eeny meeny miney mo all buy Kier and watch it go. | latics2 |
