I swapped from II last August as their service has been woeful since they took over from TD Waterhouse. Now with HL, very switched on, If you don't get any joy with II have a word with the FCA, try mentioning that you are going to take it to them and see what response you get from II

I've got a complaint lodged with II, they closed the offer on Wednesday. I tried to upload funds by way of debit card through the app. App would not allow card, had to be via browser. Emailed them, got a response Thursday, told it's to late. Anybody else have similar problems?

I`m not interested Podge ,you just thrive off attention. English actually , born in Greenwich and the footballers better improve on our sorry Cricketers.
Like I say , why do you bother ..? No one is interested, you are wrong far too often.

I guess the end of people selling to fund taking the open offer shares has shown up as a trading signal.
HL's deadline to have funds and instruction in place was noon yesterday. I've heard other mentioning earlier deadlines for other brokers.

And btw, British Bulls says yesterday's chart shows a buy signal:

KIER GROUP
Signal Update.
Our system’s recommendation today is to BUY. The BULLISH MEETING LINE pattern finally received a confirmation because the prices crossed above the confirmation level which was at 113.2000, and our valid average buying price stands now at 113.8000. The previous SELL signal was issued on 28/05/2021, 13 days ago, when the stock price was 115.0000. Since then KIE.L has fallen by -1.04%.
Market Outlook.
Let’s jump on our white horses and go for a bullish ride. The bullish pattern that was previously identified is finally confirmed and a BUY signal is generated. The market is telling you about a new profit. Do not miss this bullish opportunity.

Says the newbie who's been on advfn one month and spouted false claims about Kier in every post in that month. Maybe you should keep your idiotic thoughts to yourself until you've got something worthwhile to say.

Yesterday you were saying that Kier was no longer the partner in the Solum joint venture; completely untrue. The JV is defined in the annual report and all the reports yesterday describe the partnership.

Then you were saying that the sale to Meadow Partners of the larger part of the Twickenham Gateway would only benefit Network Rail -- completely untrue; it's a 50/50 partnership.

Then you were saying that I hadn't mentioned costs. Well we don't even have a sale price you moron. Fact is that Meadow Partners has bought two-thirds of the Twickenham Gateway development (buying 82 flats in 2 blocks, one finished) where one-bedroom apartments are selling for half-a-million each; two-beds at £600k+ and three-beds even more. We will find out the sale price eventually but my guess is that it could be in the ball-park of £40m. Reports are that the sale to Meadow Partners has completed. Last year Kier took a £3.5m dividend out of the Solum JV; if 50% of the sale price goes into Kier's accounts before the end of this month, we are potentially looking at a significant boost to cash and profits for H2. And that's without taking into account the 32 apartments in block A which have already been sold by the KierSolum partnership (just seven still available). Trading update is probably only five weeks away and we might even get an update earlier than that. Last year Davies gave out a statement the day after year-end (1st July).

Troll all you like, but the trolls here look more and more stupid with every passing day.

1 day you will be rich you know, rich I tell you!! 'said the lemming on a clifftop', or delboy to Rodney, 1 day we'll be millionaires, keep pumping it in, you might hold millions of shares eventually, if every few years there's a cash call again!!

Good news story from me wallz: Kier share price up 300% since November low. Beats your investment in BP by about six times. If you know of any other 'charity cases' with that kind of return, please let me know.

Sparty, you do understand that the only reason Kier is not in administration is because they have issued another 175 percent (284m) more shares at a price that is (85/409 X 100) 80 percent less than the last cash raise 2.5 years ago??

That's not a successful investment. That's a charity pretending to be a investment.

By all means continue to give, if you believe Kier is a good cause. However, don't expect a return, other than the good news stories that Stdy regularly feeds you.

Spent your £70 profits yet Podgy? You can clearly read ,you just don`t know what to read. Neither would you understand it if you found it.

Patiently waiting for Wally`s 80p..

I note the superior business model, debt free, Costain's shareprice is now half that of Kier.Kier as you will remember is the debt ridden badly organised disparate mess that is heading for admin.
All those who piled in in the 40`s to average down must be rueing their decision.

spotty, if you thought I was witty, I would be concerned.

CW - never mind that you don't read like spotty, you simply can't read.

And not forgetting that neither of you muppets have held since the low 80s.

Enough of this you are indeed a stupid git. There is no point in attacking the defenseless. A total lack of Wit and that is at least half true.
One day you will get something right. When that happens... Check you are awake. You may be disappointed.

A pidgy splat from May on COST

" maybe in the doldrums, but you can still make a few quid of it while you wait.

Trades 235 last night just before the close and trade 39 today were mine - only £75, but better than the proverbial punch in the mouth. All the while holding c300k."

FFS says it all... Luckily no one really responds to you or is interested on the COST board hence you head over to KIE. Maybe join a tango or samba class.. Move the hips and close the lips..

Why would how many I held when I sold have any relevance?
You started the spat by posting small novels on kier while not investing and telling everyone why you preferred COST to kier..? Why would kier investors care?
Your darling COST is languishing @ 58P
Maybe go and rally the troops over there ,they are beginning to realize you are not Warren Buffet, more Warren Beatty ..

I really wouldn't.

Whatever floats your boat - while I could see a logic in possibly buying or selling shares while playing, I don't know why you would be reading or posting on here while playing golf. But each to their own, eh? Live and let live I say.

PS - You're not going to answer the question on how many you had at your maximum holding then?

(Remember you started this little spat. Again. As you always do.)

podgy.
"PS - that was a very short round of golf, including travel time."

My Golf course has Wi Fi all over the course. Would you like me to explain it? or 4g?
I`m very often wrong but right about kier (made good money) and right about COST.. IE the wrong investment..
Tedious loser with a head full of figures and ideas that do you no good...

Incidentally, news of another Kier 50/50 joint venture surfaced today:

Submarine training facility takes shape at HMNB Clyde
Last year the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) awarded a contract worth £100-million to Kier Graham to deliver the works, which are expected to complete in early 2022.
