Incidentally, news of another Kier 50/50 joint venture surfaced today:

Submarine training facility takes shape at HMNB Clyde
Last year the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) awarded a contract worth £100-million to Kier Graham to deliver the works, which are expected to complete in early 2022.

Anyone got anything more on the Twickenham Gateway deal? What is it worth to Kier? Apparently saying it 'must be sizeable' is very concerning for the trolls. Most of Kier's joint deals are fifty/fifty, so it'll be useful money, whatever it is. Clues anyone?

Nope, Woodford got sold a different story tnt; that Kier would make long money from house-building and faster (smaller) money from contract work, and pay out big dividends. We are in at a better place, with Kier having bounced off the bottom, massively oversold, because the market was worried about it being another Carillion. That fate has been averted. I agree with you about £3. IF we have a good profit number for H2 I think £3 might be achieved during September as we rush into the FTSE250.

My take is the shares may drop to 1 pound then over the next year or so rise to 3 pounds on the good news story that kier becomes as its main competitors have gone bust and the debt problem has been sold workforce reduced and work pouring in so as long as they get their maths right will be a good investment I got in at 42p so already smiling ? Did Woodford now this all the time

Your Trying to talk up kier again with guessing, that I'm wrong, so condescending, do your own homework, instead of asking others, and stating prices for the properties, like their pure profit, with no costs, network rail are the massive winners as they owned the land. Will see what exceptionals are in statement at the end of the month, and if kier really are producing cash

Am intrigued to know the value of this Twickenham Gateway deal -- a one bedroom flat at Twickenham Gateway is up for sale at £470k. This joint deal of 82 units of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, plus the handful of other assets, must be a sizeable deal. Anyone seen anything comparable?

Well the monies for my Entitlement shares and the extra ones I requested have gone out of my account today but it remains to be seen whether I get everything I applied for.

bathboy, since you've only been on advfn for a month, I wouldn't expect you to know. All of your steers have been wrong so far; your thoughts here are wrong too. My question is about the value of the deal. It's a joint deal; Kier has got it on its own website. Does anyone else have a clue?

Not sure that kier own anything of solum regeneration , sold their share to capital and counties plc in 2015, they are still involved, being the building partner,

Does anyone know how much Kier got for this sale announced yesterday?

Solum Regeneration – the joint venture between Kier Property and Network Rail – has sold its remaining interest at Twickenham Gateway to Meadow Partners. Upon completion of the deal, Meadow Partners, a private real estate investment firm, will own the final two residential blocks – known as B and C, as well as the commercial element – totalling 82 residential units, 4 retail units, 69,072sq ft.

I only respond to your provocations spotty. Look back and see it - but you won't will you? Because that would mean you having to admit you were wrong - which does not and will not happen. No surrender.

You're not going to answer the question on how many you had at your maximum holding then?

(PS - that was a very short round of golf, including travel time. Less then 2 and a half hours between posts.
Were you telling porkies?)

Says the berk who invested in COST and constantly pointed out why COST was a better investment!
You simply are not equipped to invest in anything. You are like a kid who is taught mensuration at school then attempts to calculate the weight of the sun..YOU DO NOT KNOW enough about the world you are still working in to make profitable investments.
Posting reams of drivel but not understanding the context yourself is not very cerebral posting.
All that counts, all that mental number crunching and thinking through an investment is PROFIT!!!
If talk was cash you would be a $ behind Jeff Bezos..!
Do try and get it..
The facts and figures you post and some of the logic is sometimes correct but you NEED MORE than that to make money.
Now if you will excuse me I have an appointment with the first Tee.

I have no doubt you will be loading up, Sparty. It's fascinating that the stocks most posted about, very rarely make investors any money.

This BB has had 1000's of posts saying what a great investment it is over 2 years (many of them from the exact same posters as today). It has paid no dividends, the share price has not increased (it has gone up and down, of course), and shareholders are tapped for more money.

In deed, you would be massively better off if you kept your money in a 0.1 percent interest savings account (at least they don't ask you for more money every 2.5 years).

You buy away Sparty. I am sure like the 1000's of posts before it, will make you rich!!!! At 85p post equity issue, Kier will be worth £380m. For a investment that has everything to prove and yet to generate any cash for over 5 years, and around (-£300m) net tangible assets. Bargain!!!!

This is also the author who wrote he could not see the relevance of comparing the shareprice of COST (58p) and kier 111p when the gap between them was a few pence a while back.
Well with one twice the price of the other "debt free funded company"maybe he does now.I doubt it though , too busy writing the bulletin board version of War and Peace.
