24/3/2021 14:33 | Can't do it during these hours I'm afraid - I'm too tight to pay for the subscription, so charts time out almost instantly. Play the ball, eh? | ![]() imastu pidgitaswell
24/3/2021 14:30 | Imastu my friend why not do us all some nice charts for the header (presuming no RI) it will do you good and its relevant. | ![]() claymagnet
24/3/2021 14:21 | I get excited every time we get back up to this level.Just something that came to mind today. Did anyone ever post about why we first started the rally in the first place before the sky news story? Is there a low key leak out there? | ![]() claymagnet
24/3/2021 14:14 | Note to self. Must post hundreds of posts on boards of companies which I have no financial interest, living life is a poor second to this excellent use of my time. But posting here gives me such a sense of pompous superiority, it's like a drug ;) | ![]() hamhamham1
24/3/2021 13:53 | Why are none of the top brass investing in these cheap shares? Because they ain't cheap and they know it. | ![]() zicopele
24/3/2021 13:35 | What's the disclaimer they have when investing in anything? Ah, yes .......Past performance is no guarantee of future results. And I fully appreciate that this can work both ways :) Back to work for me. | ![]() gixxer1
24/3/2021 13:28 | Costain share price is down 👇 which is odd seeing as there's lots of share chat on there 😂 😂 😂 | ontheforks
24/3/2021 12:37 | Muck, the discussions on here are numerous and sometimes heated. Your ascertain that they are useless though is wrong. We are discussing Kier as a investment, not as a institution with 16000 odd employees. Those are two very different things. The key points as a investment are; 1) has the sector improved now and lost its habit of losing 100 percent of investors money for the companies that are in financial troubles. 2) are those troubled companies worth investing in for recovery and will they lead to a return. Kier has the weakest balance sheet in the sector, and rightly so has all the bull/bear attention. All the recent evidence says no (Interserve and Carillon, Kier's deteriorating balance sheet), but there are many on here that say yes. There is not long to wait to find out!! | ![]() wallywoo
24/3/2021 10:39 | @imtatsu pidgitaswell - apology accepted. As for me being one of the series of login individuals in your link - the answer is no. I am not invested in any other companies, nor am I going to attempt to ramp or deramp any company - including the one I work for. I have never recommend anything to anyone in my life; recommendations are subjective. I let people know of my own experiences and leave it to them to make their minds up. If for example someone asked me if I would recommend a certain restaurant, I would reply that I had a good/nice/poor meal there, as appropriate. It is not my money they are spending when they go to a restaurant, nor is it my money they are spending IF I was to ever recommend anything - including the buying and selling of shares. I do not have enough of a disposable income to buy shares in the volumes that the majority of people on this board may have. @Wally. As for being the face of Kie in a TV advert, alas I am afraid I only have a face for the radio. I will not rise to you sarcastic remarks. Edited to clarify a detail. | ![]() gixxer1

24/3/2021 10:12 | And that's job done as far as stdy is concerned - obscure the reality of what is happening. Bury the relevant facts with a deluge of irrelevance. So, finally for now, my view of the true financial picture: And the (subjective) interpretation: Nothing personal... | ![]() imastu pidgitaswell
24/3/2021 09:47 | In which case, sir, I apologise. But I hope you can forgive me for thinking that you might have been one of the series of logins that this person is using: The Sharesave Scheme is well worth it - a risk free exposure to potential gains. Being 'naked' long on these - well, it's your choice. Just imho. | ![]() imastu pidgitaswell
24/3/2021 09:46 | I think my interpretation of Kier's begging bowl is accurate. Gixxer says he is happy with Kier after forking out 409p a share for the last rights issue. It's kept him in work for the last 2.5 years. It's a charity designed to keep Britain working. I have no problems with this. It's when posters insist that Kier is a investment, and that they will get a return on their money I object. Perhaps gixxer you could suggest a TV advert with the next RI? You could be the face of it, show all the happy workers, and say just pay 2x your initial investment every 2.5 years to keep these people in work??? | ![]() wallywoo
24/3/2021 09:36 | @imatsupidpigaswell. Good morning to you too. I posted yesterday actually. I view the board daily as I find the bickering quite amusing. If I have something to say then I will say it, otherwise I move on and get on with my day job. And unlike a lot of people on this board, I have never slagged anyone off. I work for Kie and have done for 11 years; I am happy with my lot. I am long, have bought into the Kie ShareSave Scheme and even the last RI. I am confident that the company I work for will survive and the share price will rise. | ![]() gixxer1
24/3/2021 08:27 | Thank you wallzy!! The feeling is mutual. Back whenever. Btw, 'begging bowl'?? Shut up, you nitwit. | ![]() stdyeddy
24/3/2021 08:18 | But lemme guess, gixxer, Ratchet, or iTisOnlyMoney (the thick one) will be reappearing here? What about TruthandNumbers - haven't seen that one for at least a day? | ![]() imastu pidgitaswell

24/3/2021 08:15 | Well your predictions have been wrong for two years wallzy and very wrong for the last six months. Btw, I will be taking a break from here for a bit while I chase masturpig about. advfn is more important to him than me and he has a very fragile ego, so I will be visiting the boards he likes so that people there can get to know him a little better. | ![]() stdyeddy
24/3/2021 08:14 | I know. And it's easy to respond to, if you just check the FRES, POLY and HTG(?!) threads. Loving the 'read-across' from BWY - as if what they are doing bears any vague resemblance to Kier Living... | ![]() imastu pidgitaswell
24/3/2021 08:11 | They are not going away, imastu!!It's critical that the Kier share price is as high as possible just before a equity issue. Since no fund is trading Kier shares (and have not for 15 months now), the share price is controlled by Pi's.Belway is a proper house buider with £1.5b assets and no off balance sheet debt. Kl has £200m debt locked into JV companies (go to companies House type Kier Cross Keys, look at £80m debt in one such company). However, I don't believe funds will support any equity issue, and I believe the results will show another high loss (Kier have a long history of being optimistic in their trade updates). The next RNS will be the killer for Kier IMO. | ![]() wallywoo
24/3/2021 07:57 | probably positive for kier living too. | ![]() itisonlymoney
24/3/2021 07:55 | bellway results out this morning look good. reinstated dividend. | ![]() itisonlymoney |
