Desperate times.

Gamble getting in down here.

Reckless getting in higher.

Silly sausages.

Shareholders must vote this deal down. I do not want to say to much in a public forum but there is a lot going on in the background. WHEN THE EGM COMES PLEASE VOTE!

Not counting all the shareholder cash raised meanwhile. Another £40m at least.

This looks increasingly like a dead duck to me. Louis is a drowning CEO coming up for the third time. Yaki's post below asks all the important questions. Why are we donating £10m to a company in Zimbabwe with no assets when all the money spent on all the various flagship projects over about a decade have turned £30-£40m into a £5m (and reducing) company still without a single penny of revenue to its name.

Looks like MAST's SPV's aren't going to have any debt - not from Close Bros anyway. Now 5 months 'due digence' and nothing. No debt. No MAST. Full Stop. (But LC's two Chuckle Bro mates from Seth Efrika got away with their gross overpayment from Louis (courtesy his behighted shareholders again) for Bordersley - three years ago and still a pie in someone's sky.)

I wonder what debt is wrapped up in the MAST SPV’s also, seems the plan is to burden KIBO with as many white elephants as possible.

and in the meantime:

NOTHING from MAST

NOTHING from Blyvoor - another convoluted and messy deal that had at least 17 funders ready to give the money and be in production by now

NOTHING from Haneti - after giving 35% of it away for free to Paul Johnson, drilling done several months ago!

NOTHING from any of the pie in the sky WtE projects

iamthebest

from your link:

"...These challenges include prohibitive and volatile foreign exchange controls, high inflation, fragile property rights, and pervasive corruption."

plus the deal - paying 10m for 500k of net assets - which are not necessarily tangibles

is just beyond me and I think is criminal to go for such a deal

I just hope, and slight glimmer of it, that Kibo directors are aware of their LEGAL FIDUCIARY obligations towards the shareholders and act accordingly!

If this all falls apart whilst they are suspended and the RTO fails there’s a real chance that this will delist from AIM IMO.
