02/10/2024 08:40 | I'm pretty sure Iran's oil getting blown to pieces will stop any airline making profit assumptions | trying2trade
02/10/2024 07:18 | I’m pretty sure if the board released guidance they would be a fair bit higher, definitely a tipping up opportunity | bashor

25/9/2024 07:28 | Yes good to see someone else above 3% in time as PM divests his holding this will become a more widely traded stock, maybe then it’s time to move to the FTSE, in for the long game myself | bashor
25/9/2024 07:21 | RNS : Computershare Trustees go above 3% with 6.84m shares: | rivaldo
25/9/2024 06:44 | Labour could well raise tax in other ways, rather than just the well publicised hits to IHT and CGT. For example, by targeting polluters and supporting their green agenda they may increase the road tax on SUVs and raise APD tax, which wouldnt put people off their holidays, but would harm the share price. | cb7
24/9/2024 17:55 | Snorkel - That’s the opposite of what Meeson has said and he does what he says. | scottish007
24/9/2024 14:58 | TBH, once Labour does its worse in the Budget that might slow the sales or lead to a move to the main board. I cant see them taking away the INT status for AIM but that would be a good thing. For non residents its great as don't pay cap gain anyway and get to see a move to the FTSE250 at the very least. Really cant blame PM for the current share sales, probably saving himself 10 mil plus in tax prior to changes in Cap gains. There is also a thought of mine based on PM as a character. Jet2 has obviously changed and he isn't in control. So a complete sell out and move on could be on the cards. Some people are like that a clean break, if cant be the main man and he was for many many years then out completely. I would do that but I'm not PM | snorkelparker
24/9/2024 14:46 | Yep Hardm, I keep revisiting my rationale as been with this company for nearly 2 decades. I always said once PM was out its time to move on.. But didn't make sense when that time came. Not many companies have so much going for them in a tough space, and time and time again march forward. Down played financials has always been the case, they just don't take risks of having to revise down. Not as if we are here trying to justify a high valuation as that's clearly not the case. Easy at 12 to 13 P/E Jet2 at 8 ish is crazy in my view. Scarf has a point that its easy to manipulate maybe right now that's the case a nice lull to stock up on cheaper shares prior to a November burst, seen that many times sometimes almost to the point of complete disbelief at how far it can be taken down. 2019 great example from what I remember TC about to fold and the market scared and talking about a price war as TC struggled to stay in the game. For anyone with a financial brain TC where toast. Trading statement comes out in Sept 19 big opening sell off to sub 7 quid. I was absolutely amazed as was so obvious what a screaming buy it was on multiple fronts. Well 5 months latter and GBP19.5 a share so yes it was a no brainer and would have been 25 quid a few months latter if not for the Covid hoax. There are so many things that this company is doing and has done right a proven track record of dealing with adversity and capitalising on good well drawn out plans that are consistently executed on. But good to hear the negatives to keep a balanced view.. Main fear is governments especially the current one. | snorkelparker
24/9/2024 14:45 | Company financial performance is fine. Yes the stock is flat over 6 months but up over 30% over 1 year. Yes meesons selling and lack of flows into active small cap flows is an issue. Long term value will out. | diviincomesearch
24/9/2024 14:06 | Yes, I agree with your last few posts. The company's constant downbeat and incomplete reports (i.e. always saying it's too early to forecast etc. instead of highlighting the positives) are damaging to the share price. The 'jet2 news' on the client facing website is much more upbeat, but the formal financial statements and reports are the opposite. Yet again, we are stuck at a certain share price, with any 'bad news' causing a massive fall, but any 'good news' only resulting in a modest gain. The prospect of further selling by Mr Meeson also means that investors are cautious. Something needs to change if we are ever to reach the broker forecasts that average around 1900 (but have done so for some time now, without us getting close to it). | hardm
24/9/2024 13:36 | miserable share price performance..wonder if start getting and idea on the all important first 6 months.. | snorkelparker
24/9/2024 10:55 | with a modest increase in PE from AIM to FTSE maybe would be in the FTSE100. at Easyjets multiple it would be number 93 | snorkelparker
24/9/2024 10:40 | All becoming quite tiresome, got a rather large lump and feeling like just stuck..worry is the slightest negative news or perception and could really suffer. If Labour change the AIM inheritance law then hopefully move to main board | snorkelparker
