I wouldn't bank on it. Long haul is breaking away from the companies long held strategy and nobody is making significant money selling long haul package holidays.

Outflows from Amati and other small/mid cap firms are still preventing this from pushing upwards.

Retail just chasing US tech or cash cuddling and ignoring valuations.

The Amati UK Listed Smaller Companies Fund have just issued their latest monthly newsletter covering August, and in it they say:

"We initiated a new holding in the month in Jet2, an integrated travel company, which is the number one tour operator in the UK. Customer service and staff retention in the business are key strengths. Jet2 are ranked 2nd out of 275 companies in the UK Customer Satisfaction Index. They have enjoyed strong growth in customer numbers, adding 72% since 2019. With a strong balance sheet, management are adding capacity which will help it take further market share. Despite this clear progress the shares remain modestly rated, offering meaningful upside from here."

Been flying across the pond once a year at Christmas time to New York. Obviously keeping ETOPS paperwork current for a purpose.

It'll be routes and likely 'long haul'. Manchester airport are covering it on their social media already. So I can't imagine it's that they're off to Sharm El Sheikh. It'll be long haul and I think it'll be Goa, Florida, Mexico, Dominican, possibly Dubai, Vegas and New York. Retaining the a330s through the winter. Very much guess work, educated guesswork at best.
