04/12/2020 12:26 | Hopefully that won't be the case but it's a plausible scenario. Re demand for JET2 shares - if this board is anything to go by, there is no PI involvement at all (who can't move the needle anyway in light of our gigantic market cap). That leaves what you mention: city boys + momentum being in motion. | tongosti
04/12/2020 12:26 | Yep hearing you, sure many have the same experience ..around end of Feb ..was in Singapore we had a big get together lots of beer etc .after this a few of us where knocked out then a few spouses ..for a week I was knackered out of breath then after about 4 days I slept pretty much for 3 days .. | snorkelparker
04/12/2020 12:17 | Tong, if our fears are founded we will be in a world of hurt.. just wonder where the money for this rise is coming from PI or Funds or just momentum trading | snorkelparker
04/12/2020 11:57 | i have been harbouring the same fears as well but like yourself I am not an expert. I genuinely believe my family contracted the virus late last year (before we became aware of it in the West) but the symptoms were mild. Part of me is really tempted not to be vaccinated at all ... | tongosti
04/12/2020 11:50 | This is just my thoughts ..I'm no medical expert but I think those that have already been infected the vaccine will have no effect as they already recognise and can handle the vaccine and new contact with the virus..I think the problem lies with those that have not yet contracted it having the vaccine and then opening up there natural immune system to the proper wild covid. but what do I know ..but when you read an interview with the CEO of Merck and the words Genocide being used in respect to rushing a vaccine of this nature are used ..would make me cautious .. | snorkelparker
04/12/2020 11:45 | couldn't agree more - that's the way to play it. buy panic and sell euphoria. very impressed with share performance. i am tying myself to the chair in an attempt to resist initiating another long! | tongosti
04/12/2020 11:42 | Tong they will be buying the last of what I have . | snorkelparker
04/12/2020 11:41 | What’s going to bring it down this stunning rally is when non believers finally throw in the towel and join the party. That will be the end - in my view. | tongosti
04/12/2020 11:41 | CT, negative vaccine news..that will bring it down in a hurry .. | snorkelparker
04/12/2020 11:38 | 1489 that's 2.8b market cap!! what is going to bring this down? tiger | castleford tiger
04/12/2020 10:09 | Agreed Tong, looks like its up still . | snorkelparker
04/12/2020 09:22 | Am on the same page on the vaccine front. The following is also an interesting take on it all:https://www.inde | tongosti
04/12/2020 08:36 | I think people think this vac situation is easy ..but logistically its huge ..time to do is huge ..and what if side effects start to become a problem..what if people die after having the vaccine.... | snorkelparker
04/12/2020 08:34 | holding up pretty good ..in light of share sales .sold off a lump of at 14.65 ...even less left now | snorkelparker
04/12/2020 08:06 | Wizz yesterday went through it’s previous high. That’s about mid 1600 here so still 10% possible. Valuation over there ( wizz) now looking almost 3 years to the future!! | castleford tiger
04/12/2020 06:27 | I thought PM would sell after the last announcement and started selling down in preparation for a pull back caused by that.. Will be interesting after the pop to 15 how it trades now. Sensible for PM and family trust to diversify such a large holding.. It will not reflect PM's passion for the company. Hats of to the fella.. | snorkelparker
03/12/2020 22:48 | PM selling at the top again no nshock to me Still headwinds next year? on time for rollout of vaccine, how long is it going to last 2xmonths or longer?? IF someone falls ill and then catches covid again then what?lots of unknown | senn1
03/12/2020 21:37 | Let's just hope that they can now start paying the refunds out to their loyal customers. My JET2 flight to the Canaries was cancelled and I should have had my refund from them within 28 days. Those 28 days have now passed am I'm still waiting. It's becoming a bit of a cowboy outfit in my opinion. | joe kingl
03/12/2020 18:00 | I am amazed that Philip still held his shares in paper form TBH. Putting them in crest makes it much simpler. A nice 7m sale from the related group as well tiger | castleford tiger
03/12/2020 17:14 | Now we know why we had elevated volumes coming into the market from very early morning. Interesting timing re PM dematerialising his entire holding in the company. | tongosti
03/12/2020 13:50 | the fun and games started after ..business was tricky for a few years to say the least ..but dtg never looked back ... | snorkelparker
03/12/2020 13:33 | Is that a cup forming? | beachbum1978
03/12/2020 11:30 | Am sure it wasn't easy back in 2008 either Snorkel. Only in Sep that year we had Lehman failing and I remember cutting my holiday short then and heading straight into the office from the airport being terrified at the prospect of other global banks being next. | tongosti
03/12/2020 11:09 | well I got it at 2008 but easier pulling the trigger then..lol | snorkelparker
03/12/2020 10:57 | 100%. I said at the time that - bankruptcy aside - that was the June 2008 equivalent for longer term investors. | tongosti |
