Added earlier to my existing position. We should be off to races soon. If not - honour thy stop is the battle cry.

Global airline lobby IATA is working on a mobile app that will help travelers demonstrate their coronavirus-free status, joining a push to introduce so-called Covid passports to speed up the revival of international travel.

Jet2 is financially strong so is likely to do much better than most in the industry. Fundamentals do count.

Exactly same Snorkel. Saga long term hold and managed plenty at 280. Still tempted for more. Jet2 a safe bet also but not as better value

" It’s always about “future” not "current" fundamentals "

That is certainly true.

The rising trend is likely to last a while due to the covid situation imo.

Airline shares are flying.Fundamentals don't seem to matter anymore. GLA

That’s funny coming from you. Only this year we heard various times on this board that fundamentals were out of the window at £18 (the very first day we started to come down crashing) then at £13 then at £10 then at £3 then at £8 and now finally at £14.

NO - fundamentals always matter but not how most think about them. It’s always about “future” not "current" fundamentals. Hence you’re a bit confused. If you learn to trust Mr Market a bit more, you will see that you will have a much better chance in being in sync with the flow (aka "perception" of [future] fundamentals to be more exact).

Good luck:)

Selling a bit more today, still holding but a lighter load ..bumped up a bit in to Saga as it's yet to join the party the last few days. Will hope for a pull back that allows some buying again.

Another vaccine to assist getting flight schedules back to normal and hopefully prior to the key summer season. Oxford University vaccine is 90% effective in certain administration regimes.

Awesome market action. A test of all time highs is very, very probably the next target. That is where things will get interesting BUT that's a discussion if and when we get there.

Only asked if anyone knew international flights where resuming.

I shouldn't have responded with an opinion to your post as it's irrelevant to this board.

Lets agree to disagree

I think lockdowns are mad and mass testing is completely futile apart scaring people. Yep its an unpleasant virus but people die.. Its not like we are elves ..:)

we all need to remember how we used to live with all the various viruses around us..

No idea, but bojo is Mali g a hash of it again going back to a tired system and even extending pub hours is the guy gone nuts.

Your opening things back up from a standing point of 20k odd cases per day

it went into lockdown at around 10k.

Where will we be in Jan Feb

Disaster waiting to happen we finished the last lockdown July with around 1500 cases per day it only took 2 months for this to start increasing from that low level.

Bonkers the man is
