I sold 8500 shares an hour or so ago and the market didn’t flinch. Looking for a way back in over the coming months, but will probably let
My heart recover after not selling in April and having to average down to make anything.

OH - we all miss opportunities here and there. The important thing is that you have been making a few on here which is good to hear. Like you I am also sitting on my hands now with JET2. It is my firm belief that having no position is a major position which gets rewarded in time thanks to the power of good decisions being compounded over time. Cheers.

I bailed out completely too Tongosti, with a decent profit but missed the recent rapid rise. The figures exceeded my expectations, so interesting fall on low volumes. Sitting on my hands to see how far this can retrace the rapid rise, but I would be surprised to see it fall too far from here.

I think having no volumes today will be a v good outcome. Will see as it's still early doors.

We're drawing breath after the latest 400 points increase. I bailed out completely but will look to re-entry soon.

fairly sure AFTER the period end so in October/November.

I only spent an hour before the office and will study them tonight.

The bank maybe pushed it like the equity raise at practically 1/3 rd of true value.

Well done pal - hearing the cash register ring is never a bad idea. I am still in with what is left of my original position (but will cover if JET2 starts heading down towards my original entry price). My hunch re immediate price action is that we will see another final leg up b4 we're done. Disappearing volumes today are quite telling as there seems to suggest there is no profit taking around. That's a good tip off from Mr Market. In addition, there are plenty of folks who have been stunned by the rise as they have not been able to reconcile it with their fundamental view of the world. Consequently, there is still a lot of skepticism on the company - a key ingredient for another rise in the market. Finally, you have a tailwind across the board - all beaten down sectors are staging a powerful rally. As a result, I can't see any meaningful pullbacks with RNS now out of the way. On the balance of probabilities of course as markets have a way of humbling us all. Good luck.

This rise is only due to Jupiter Odie and co managing the books it's easily done with small free float

CT when was the lease backs done ..? maybe when things where looking grim ..vaccine is a game changer currently..this would be prior to that clarity..I don't think it's the silver bullet that the market thinks ..

CT,I agree. Given the 'own cash' position, one wonders, are they just playing it safe? I think it's prudent - given the chance to capitalise on strong demand in sale and leaseback market like EZJ. It's better than dilution and costs are minute over the longterm.Cash

It does look strange raising 75 m on that leaseback

Good results, cash retention looks good and the fact they've been able to secure sale and leaseback deals against aircraft is important.Cash

Tongy you spent the last 2/3 years pre covid talking Jet2 down whilst the share price went up and up. Post March you've been nothing but lucky. No doubt your luck will run out soon. We'll check back on you in a years time.

Were you focused on making money (as opposed to try trick people you're someone else) then you would have paid heed to my advice then and buy. I guess you take pleasure in trying to post under my alias. How's that working for you?!

There is no doubt they have managed well. However, there is little clarity going forward, as you would expect, apart from bookings being 21% down. Reality is that next summer will not be normal. With predictions from others in the sector that it will take 3-5 years to return to pre covid levels my feelings are that they will struggle to make money next year. Having diluted equity by 20% and sold F-W, there looks to be a rare over valuation of jet2 by the market.

Here's the latest example of Mr Market proceeding fundamentals. Excellent update - under these exceptional circumstances - we should reach our £15 next. Past that, a retest of all time highs beckons

Will do a long report tonight
90% down but excellent cash retention.
Look like about 500 m of their cash gone.
Not sure why they needed to raise another 75 m from aircraft.
Total debt is about 2 b but I need to check the small print.
Summer 21 will be no record breaker.
Without doubt they will be ok but let’s see what market thinks.
