20/11/2020 16:35 | Fair to say those who were rubbishing the price action yesterday are even more stunned today. JET2 on fire folks - time for a gin tonic! | tongosti
20/11/2020 12:36 | Thanks for sharing pal - yes market action on JET2 is all about its future market position. Been making the case all along that the market has been in the "discounting way beyond 2021" business from those bargain 600+ price levels. Onwards and upwards | tongosti
20/11/2020 12:26 | Featured in Investor's Champion update – predictably terrible results but holding up and a long term winner? The cash position is highly supportive, with 'Own Cash', excluding customer deposits, at the period end of £652.5m (2019: £1,012.2m) - an increase of 25% since 31 March 2020. Cash was boosted by the fund raise in May, which brought in £172m, and the sale of Fowler Welch for £98m. Total cash balances were £1,008.2m (2019: £1,655.7m). | energeticbacker
20/11/2020 11:56 | It is mate - JET2 acting like a champ. About to cross the 1320 level | tongosti
20/11/2020 11:11 | see how this bounce holds | snorkelparker
20/11/2020 11:11 | just going watch it for a tad longer ..but yep seems that all is well on the long front .. | snorkelparker
20/11/2020 11:06 | Gents - now that the latest company announcement is out of the way and with the share price holding up unbelievably well (+70% in under three weeks and were not giving back anything), the path of least resistance is firmly up. Volumes dissipating following that stunning rise contain a very clear message. Those long termers (as many of you know I am not in this category) who are in should feel confident on another major push up in space. Odds (the future is never certain anywhere in the universe we live in - hence managing risk is critical) favour the long side. No two ways about it. Good weekend all. | tongosti
20/11/2020 08:49 | Indeed I do pal - yesterday's high came at 1430 so where did all go wrong eh?Good morning all - JET2 holding up well this morning. We should be on our final leg of the Northern journey soon. If so, £17 to all time highs should be the next destination. If not - honour thy stops! Am completely out but closely looking for my next re-entry | tongosti
19/11/2020 19:47 | Fest - thanks pal. I feel sad seeing CT in this state. Of all people he knows (all my posts are available on this board) last year I traded short from 800+ to 700 only to switch long from 800 to 1500 and then short the very first day of the short trip at 1800+. Ps. Tiger - I am not the source of your frustration pal. Your own flawed methodology is. | tongosti
19/11/2020 19:41 | Tiger - you must be feel sore pal. I genuinely feel sorry for you and all your years of fruitless research on JET2. Have a glass of red and get over it buddy. | tongosti
19/11/2020 19:04 | you warned MANY TIMES. Most of 2019............ever you shorted at 600 something in early summer and the price raced to 18 QUID before cv19 Without covid there would of been no pull back. They were undervalued at £18. Just like they are overvalued now. So unless you knew that was coming...? Now its the best thing since sliced bread. I give up | castleford tiger
19/11/2020 19:04 | Tongosti has called this one pretty much perfectly, even when the prevailing winds and market sentiment was completely against him.I've made some money here, on day trading and spikes, but if I'd followed what he said, I'd have made many multiples of what I actually did. | festario
19/11/2020 18:53 | I am not upset at all pal but am disappointed you continue with your sore loser attitude. I warned of impending disaster from late last year when price crossed £16 (way before C19). Maybe you want to pull out my posts then.Am amused to hear you now say I got lucky. If that makes you feel any better I would like to help so whatever ... | tongosti
19/11/2020 18:42 | I said I would report when the numbers came out and I will. Not sure what I said to upset you but probably best you ignore me and I will you. You never agreed with me when I said the shares were cheap and talked them down. You rubbished the idea they were worth £25.00 even though this year ( without Covid) the company was on track to make 500m. That's eps of 250p a share and my valuation was 10 x I am happy with that forecast and rest assured without CV19 I think we would be there now. Now however you fancy £15.00 which is just £5.00 a share short of my target which after the issue of just over 20% more shares is equal to £20. That on the back of a loss approaching 500m for the full year. It still has to be seen if JET2 can make a profit in 2021/2 and if they do you can forget it being 500m. Simply put the shares were undervalued then and are now overvalued. That's my position and yes the market may say I am wrong but they said that about TCG when I stated at 100p they might go bust. Eventually value and that alone will win through here. I am not giving you the negatives because you point to the share price and say that's always right. Well it wasn't for many many years when it ignored the growth from JET 2 as did you. You got lucky with a virus that almost destroyed the company. If you want to see some of your negative posts on jet2 I can pull them up. | castleford tiger
19/11/2020 18:40 | Gamblers get angry very quickly. | investor73
19/11/2020 18:36 | Clearly you have not followed my posts over the last few years here champ so will let you off the hook on this one. And yes - £15 is the next one in all probability. Btw, I don't ever remember you ever giving targets on this board. Care to share? Ta. | tongosti
19/11/2020 18:32 | Somebody predicting £15 yesterday lol. | investor73
19/11/2020 18:22 | Looking forward to your "long report" this evening... | tongosti
19/11/2020 18:19 | Can you please point one trader that is losing money on here pal?The only ones who have lost here are those gamblers who bailed out at 500 booking a gigantic loss. Look where the price is now!PS. I have unfiltered your temporarily just to check on your FOMO status. I thought you would take a rest for a while? Clearly the anguish is all over you. Poor poor tiger ... | tongosti
19/11/2020 18:05 | nearly a 200p reversal from the opening up 50p. Finished about 9% down. I can see how trading these shares works. tiger | castleford tiger
