IAG down from 700 to 100.

Cannot argue with the price action here its going up.

Great news for long term holders but I still feel a correction is due.
I will wait for numbers

Happy hearing you've been smashing it pal. On JET2, like you say it's gravity defying and that's precisely why I love it at the moment. Like the old wise man said - money is always made on discounting the obvious and betting on the unexpected.

I've been having fun trading NCYT.I realise full well that if I'd just left my shares there alone, I'd have more now than I actually do.But, I can't help looking back in here for 2 reasons.Firstly, it's defying gravity.... secondly, I'm wondering if my Canaries flight on 2nd November is actually going ahead?

Released some cash elsewhere so that I could get back in here. Smaller position than usual by own standards but don't want the JET2 train leaving without me.

The biggest myth around is that markets can be rationalised - Paul Tudor JonesMarket is voting pal and that is up.

If we successfully cross 1030 then 1300 will be the next path of least resistance.

Don’t get it at all.
Can’t buy in either as price simply doesn’t reflect reality.

CTMost of the Flybe daily flights from London were for business. Jet2 has clearly gone for the holiday trade which is understandable but the business flights are all year round.Given the current uncertainty I thought they may have been tempted to go for this market.

TCG vertical integration - failed
Tui vetical integration - must be causing them a lot of damage at the moment.
Cost of running shops can be expensive especially under current circumstances.

yes I saw that. Picked up flybe work.

I agree they will be last man standing.I also think we will get back to 16.00.

Not sure if you can scale up and above the ABTA figure however that's agreed well in advance. ( something to do with compensation/insurance ).

Hearing the biggest issue might be lack of support/facilities on the other side.
JET2 need to run the vertically integrated model if possible but cannot at the moment

What the hell do you know pal - aren't you the one who said that you only play cash equity space only but somehow (?!?!) go short as well? Still haven't heard back from you on how you do that Einstein :):):):)

I went to the Costas in July and felt safer than at home. Masks required in streets, unless exercising. Fewer people on beach, plenty of space.

Emigna, Jet2 one of the best for operating refunds properly and no problem getting mine back booked through agent.

Hiya CT,

Yep agreed, but do think Jet2 can scale up quickly if it does go mad.

Its a real tough call, not a day goes by without thinking about the situation as still have a reasonable size holding..

I decided a while back to try and tough it out and have faith that in a few months things will be more hopeful. Who is going to be left to provide Brits with holidays ? Maybe will provide a good environment for new online agents to pop up with low cost of entry. But they will need plane seats and in resort infrastructure and the few left will be in the driving seat.

Fingers crossed.. be good to see you back in at some point.. 3 years from now 1f 16 quid is hit I would be happy..

PS thanks for the MPAC tip chugging along nicely

I would agree but remember the numbers quoted for summer 21 are down 25%.

That's maximum capacity.

I do think that it could be quite profitable as demand could outstrip supply.
Jet2 are quite flexible but the ABTA no is set in stone.

I agree no flying is a better way to conserve cash.

Still say it will be 2022 summer before we achieve turnover of last year and the company will have a 500m ( estimate) hole in its balance sheet.

The shares are half their all time high which is too much risk/reward for me.

I think it will be 2023 before we see the price at the all time high of 16.00 ( adjusted for rights issue)
