Stan, the figures are great, the share price will rise and people with deep pockets will look at it, time will tell if a bidder appears, but there's a lot worse companies out there who have been bought.
But I'm happy either way strong performance will do the talking.

Market Pre Open Report

ITV said it has had an "outstanding" nine months with strong performances from its Studios and Media & Entertainment businesses driving revenue growth.

For the nine months to September 30, revenue was GBP2.79 billion, up 29% from GBP2.17 billion at the same time last year. Total advertising revenue came in at GBP1.36 billion, rising 31% from GBP1.04 billion.

As previously guided, ITV expects to propose a final dividend of 3.3p at the full year stage.

Looking ahead, ITV said total advertising revenue for 2021 is expected to be the highest in the company's history.

The broadcaster also highlighted it has a strong programming slate going into next year as it continues to invest in content and expects total schedule costs to be around GBP1.16 billion in 2022. This includes the FIFA World Cup, the FA Cup and a strong schedule of dramas at ITV Studios which will "drive increased levels of live and streaming viewing".

"With the combination of Broadcast and ITV Hub's mass simultaneous reach, our brand safe addressable advertising product and the strong economy, 2021 looks set to have the highest advertising revenue in ITV's history, despite the lockdown in the first quarter," said CEO Carolyn McCall.

They'll be long gone, usual form ! S4 Capital also released their trading statement as well which was also a whopper, '– Sorrell's S4 posts Q3 gross profit up 42% – Martin Sorrell's S4 Capital said it would invest a proportion of its core earnings margin in future growth after reporting a third quarter like-for-like gross profit up over 42%.

Built by Sorrell, the founder of the world's biggest advertising company WPP , the purely digital S4 said in September it expected gross profit to rise by 40% this year, the third time it had increased its outlook.'

This stinks

Exceptional items are expected to be around GBP170 million, mainly due to acquisition related expenses, restructuring and reorganisation costs, and reducing our transponder capacity. This includes an additional GBP108m in relation to the final earnout payment for Talpa

Buying another business is not an exceptional item.

3.5p on a notional 5p divi. so c 4.8% yield.

personally I would much rather have no divi and a 150 share price.

:)
