Added today near the close, I hope is close to the bottom.Way oversold.

Advertising funded TV stations have always and continue to be very reliable ‘cash cows’ except during a once in a hundred years pandemic - incremental ad sales drop straight to the bottom line!
Dynamic pricing model - always fully sold so increased demand just pushes prices up.
However I do except Adam Crosie’s regular ‘exceptional’ dividends paid at the same time as building the studios business through acquisition became an unaffordable luxury.
It was the first thing Carolyn cancelled.
Although to be fair to Adam the previous CEO Charles Allen supplemented dividends with a huge share buyback programme.

lol, thanksi checked too when reading the rns, although the article , telegraph?, had different dates and amountsthey shouldnt be paying dividends with the amount of debt they are carrying, who do they think are, vodafone...if its going to sit in range 110-125, fair enough....

The Talpa Media earn-out was ‘kosher’ so to speak.

hadesthats an interesting observationreasons for drop..fast money leaving after results?mugged by net debt situation, much made of reduction in pandemic ravaged 2020 and 10 and 20 million savings here and there, only for the talpa whack to appear?britbox loss in h1, 22m, total losses now circa 102m, although they keep telling us how many subscribers they have?dividend was expected to be higher?have a good weekend everyone, its only money at the end of the day...

Nice to see no one wanted to be ‘left without’ over the weekend.
Strong price uptick in 7.1m closing auction unlike most of my other shares!
7.1m is more than today’s normal trade volume of 5m!
But a turbulent week!

The way I see it is,
PEARSON (PSON) which for decades has been considered a bit of a naff company has historic PE of 21.
ITV has a historic PE of 15.
For ITV to be considered at least as naff as Pearson its share price will need to rise about 25%.

You should look up my post history instead of accusing someone of lying. I made my prediction on 15th July when the share price was at 124p, I did say 110p before the results. I may not be right all the time Smartie, but I don't tell lies.

124p to 111.1p - 13p reduction in 2.5days on the back of results is not unheard of when it comes to ITV. If they’d gone ahead with a dividend then we may have been looking at 129p today.

Well I did predict when the share price was around 124p that by looking at the chart I thought that it could well drop to 110p. Not far to go now. We've touched 111.10p. I should have listened to myself and sold a few. I just hope that 110p is the bottom.
