Negative misreport on Bloomberg by so called expert not helping but should recover as it was incorrect! - Strange but as we know these things happen especially when ITV is rising nicely!

I've not seen anything good on it for months.
I've noticed in ITVs update staff have left
Netflix to join ITV.

Wow a blow away set of numbers.
Jan-June Ad Revenue est. up 26%
Way ahead of my forecast of +21/22% and all analysts!
Full year must be +13/14%! - Back above 2019

ADRs are Depository Receipts...... ITV ADR is OTC which is pretty "wild west"
and are usually issued by broker/dealers in US backed by shares purchased in UK. Any broker/dealer can issue these - they don't look to be sponsored and they aren't listed on the main markets.

ITV AdVentures Invest, ITV's new media for equity initiative, has concluded its second investment in Respoke Limited, the company behind the premium custom-fit menswear brand SPOKE. ITV Adventures Invest's first investment, in the location service what3words, was concluded last month.

Interestingto see what ITV Adventures Invest is investing in. The first venture certainly seemed to get the market talking. This new one may be "accepted" better.



The share price chart certainly seems a lot more positive these days. When the dividend is reinstated I hope it will look better still!

The ADR is just a way that Americans can easily buy into UK shares, there are various cost savings involved but essentially they buy ADRs and the counterparty to the deal has to deliver the underlying security. ITV has 4.025bn shares in issue and not a single share more.

This is very unusual Ivan. Either someone knows tomorrows results or there is someone stake building. ITV look like a sitting duck. Fingers crossed.

Take another look at the ADR count, its up to 733,000 ! At this rate 1m ADRs could be the final count this evening and I think a record, need to look back at my notes.

Over 6 million shares purchased after UK close

536,939 volume of shares traded over the pond.

Is something brewing over the pond? Shares flat on the day though.

Yep and here we are at 124.5p again i.e. mkt cap £5bn !! We know GS don't want to push it further North from here so lets see what transpires for the rest of the day.
