There is almost a double bottom on the weekly chart. On the second bottom there is a divergence of the MACD, however I would have preferred to see the bottom in August to be lower than the first bottom back in march. So there could be another push down below the recent bottom, but if that happened It would be even more of an indicator of a reversal. If we switch to the daily chart you can see that EMA line is turning up, and MACD has turned up while below the zero line which for me is almost a perfect chart and worth a go long with a stop under the low. Add to price vs the negative press I would expect to be selling itv at the end of January for £1.50

scooper72: Hope so as its matching my LONG in Sainsburys as well ( I bought as currently its market cap is less than Morrisons and Morrisons is cheap too)... So if chars mean anything ITV and Sainsburys are soul mates

Quite. Let's all be honest and admit there are a host of factors that could bring this back down to mid 50s again although I doubt after the last couple of days the shorters will get it to 50p. Probably those who make the most on ITV over the next couple of months will be those who have the luck and the technical ability to trade the range. But for me it will be either get back my stake with the help of a stop loss or make 3 grand when it rises

Good Morning guys,

I woke up this morning, had a shower, shave, couple of potatoes scones, topped up my core holding of ITV (59p) with 8500 at 62.8P. Ran the kids to school. Went back to my bed for an hour or to read my new book. I am about to head out for a game of golf.

Cloudy here but expected to remain dry. Yesterday was a lovely warm day bit cloudy and just about the right amount of humdity, fact

Going out for a walk and cuppa and toast, return from wlak a shower then out for a bite to eat and we will then pick up our tescos click n collect and put away shopping have a late fish n chips lunch about 2ish

i digress :(

itv is looking good not looked good as this this for weeks, i still may join in at sub 50p or when vaccine is out and share price close to 50p we shall see

please keep on talking the shares up you are doing well with the bs

STV ended day at a price that matches it's price at beginning of May.

So for ITV that equates to a price range of 70-80p

I think 70-80 is still a good short run target to keep in mind.

Agree, hopefully only temporary in the general scheme of things.From what I've read the number of jobs created in the US will be a lot lower for August than forecast so the market has tanked, mainly in the overpriced tech sector. The main concern I have is the FTSE is already cheap and has been way out of kilter with the US in particular, but if they sneeze we get double pneumonia......glass half full will mean loads more bargains to be had!.

That would not concern me as I just continue to buy, moving my
hgm money into here bit by bit.

In my opinion it is a recovery situation recovering, we will have
good and bad days along the way, which I accept.

Typical - USA "crashes" on the first day of ITV recovery!!!! I suspect, unless USA recovers pronto this will put us back a day or so... Alas.
Unless others know different?
