07/9/2020 11:34 | Interesting watching Britain's got talent with their thousands of tv screens to replace audience. Worked well IMO. | hamhamham1
07/9/2020 10:18 | Ah, I missed the thread. "ITV advert trends are quite a good way to work out where to invest" - hmmm, think I'll stick to dartboards, meself. | poikka

07/9/2020 09:56 | Poikka: Well if you're interested I've been following the boom in DIY (you get a feel of it from many TV ads).... So my Travis Perkins shares are on way up - also AShtead Plant Hire (big in USA).... ITV advert trends are quite a good way to work out where to invest - obviously ITV is the number one. | netcurtains

07/9/2020 09:34 | netme neither, have been burned in the past with their multi billion share counts..tesla recently cited a need for large amounts of ethical mined nickel snd are having a major event soon called battery dayit would indeed be funny if they were moving to some new technology...althoug | stansmith3

07/9/2020 09:21 | stansmith3: It would be funny to see all those faces of people who invested in Tezla motors if this time next year someone came up with a hydrogen fuel cell car that was loads better: Despite high production costs, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles are gaining acceptance as an alternative to battery electric vehicles, in part because they're able to provide refilling times and ranges similar to those of petrol and diesel cars. fundamentally batteries are not really clean energy if you take into account the impact mining has on the environment. Generally speaking I am not in favour of investing in mining companies | netcurtains
07/9/2020 09:14 | trickydo search for the note i referencedvery conciselynickel miner with prospects as world turns to electric vehiclesjust secured 325 funding, needs another 100 or so debt funding and equity raise - this is imminentfunding allows construction to begin on new mine q1majors have large stakes in companyone company already paid handsomely for royalty dealon debt news it should double, it will likely get bought out at 3-4 times current price, if not npv of production is 10 to 20 times current mkt cap, so real multi bagging prospects | stansmith3

07/9/2020 08:33 | s Thank you, I even know one governor has a friend working in the result marking industry and his wife is a teacher. The child got brilliant 7 -9 gcse results the other year after the mocks in Feb showed 3 -4. In the US they jailed the people paying for places, in the UK they just become governors, just as wrong. Anyway back to itv, looking a little better, maybe itv could make a documentary on it, would get 20m viewers. | srpactive
07/9/2020 08:18 | hzmmulti bagging opportunity if ever there was one, mentioned here last week at 6.7pcheck out research note by the sponge on twitter | stansmith3

07/9/2020 07:41 | FTSE futures just slightly up at present (these "slightly" numbers dont appear to mean much in the scheme of things). If Brexit goes badly I guess we get a weaker pound which means a stronger FTSE | netcurtains
