The movement in the ITV share price has been indicative of manipulation. There has been a nice rise this morning as buyers realise that ITV are cheap.

The share price has been hammered, but it looks like the drop out of the FTSE 100 along with the publicity has sparked a bit of buying.

If this gets above 65p and stays up, I have no fear that barring any bad news, ITV will be up in the 70's fairly soon.

Just glad I bought as they dropped on the FTSE news. I have a low average here, so I am happy at being long.

Since I've become an investor I actually enjoy looking at the TV adverts almost as much as the programs.

ITV do have adverts for:
a) estate agents
b) DIY on houses
c) gear for house gardens
d) Mortgages

But I dont think they currently have adverts for house rental companies. Perhaps that is an area for advert growth?

Foxtons relies on foot leather.
But yes they are historically cheap.

I know foxtons is cheap, but I am looking to 21st century for that kinda thing, purple bricks, on the market place, rightmove, etc.

On the bid question, I struggle to see this going lower, and I guess I'm not alone in that; so assuming that there is someone waiting in the wings, now could be as good a time as ever - I'd hope!

US announce a vaccine by Nov. 1st.
You can feel trump all over that statement, handy a few days before election.
But that puts real pressure on the pharmas, but I guess if no cure by election then trump would be toast, so can see what he is trying to do there. (I guess he also is pandering to the postal voters who would have their vote in the post before Nov. 1st - so if he failed too late to change vote)

I have no problem with people shorting stock.
Its the A holes that deliberately mock long term investors that really makes me sick.
