20/3/2024 14:45 | I appreciate your posts, so keep us informed Goldfinger, you have been bang on the nail on a lot of stuff and only a few here are dunces. The ones who do, are mostly boring twits who mock everything. I agree with you, ITV shares are under the control of the market makers, many investors are in agreement on that one. They were caught out with the buyback, hence the rush to cover their margin calls. | corby3
20/3/2024 14:10 | Well I for one would not base any significant investment decision based on anything that I read on a free to air bulletin board from people who post anonymously. And anybody that does need to give their head a bit of a wobble. Seek information by all means and analyse it yes, but trust nobody. | tlobs2
20/3/2024 14:08 | As inflation falls ITVs dividend, relatively goes up and up. ITV it’s time is now | netcurtains
20/3/2024 13:48 | Ignore the noise mate I'm sure there's plenty on here that appreciate your updates .PJ | reidy66
20/3/2024 12:58 | All ITV licenses just been renewed by Ofcom until 2034.... Good news.. | netcurtains
20/3/2024 11:51 | Ah so it's just an ego boost you're in it for goldfinger to rebuild your shattered confidence. | tlobs2
20/3/2024 11:35 | Check this out, if the link doesn't fix, google 'ITV cross above 200 day movng average.' Http//Www.marketbeat | goldfinger16
20/3/2024 10:43 | #6860. Agreed. Altruism is clearly not GF's motive in posting. I've wondered since he first popped up what his motives are and have said this before on this board. I keep coming up with the same motives for him and none of them are good. If he knows or has ever known anything, other than the odd tip-off from his journalist mate, who also should not be breaking confidentiality, he is breaking the law. Perhaps he is a financial journalist himself. Yet he continues to post, here and on the other board, despite saying numerous times he's not posting any more. He even claimed a couple of years ago to have been threatened by legal action, such was the sensitivity of the info he was imparting yet still continued to post, despite the "danger" to himself. Why? To help you lot make money? If his info is genuine why tell a bb full of strangers? It's that simple. | keyno
20/3/2024 10:16 | PSB licenses extended for another 10 years. I don't think there was any doubt, but it all helps. | kelso29
20/3/2024 09:26 | I think BOE will hold the rates rather than cut . Probably after summer rates will go down | blackhorse23
20/3/2024 09:04 | Great (& better than expected) UK inflation print this morning at 3.4% vs expectations of 3.5%. Although I’m somewhat surprised at the fx market and stock market response this morning , it will give the BOE room to cut. I would guess Bailey will wait for one more inflation print then if it continues to decline we’ll have our first cut in May. Imho…. Rate cuts will massively help interest rate sensitive stocks , like those involved in advertising (ITV). | matthewr1
20/3/2024 09:00 | I guess where goldfingers strategy fell apart for me was in him telling everybody else to buy buy buy. If you had some insider information, as he claims he had, most "normal" people would act on that and keep it to themselves and buy as many "cheap" shares that they could for themselves. Why on earth would you want to alert others to your "secret" information? | tlobs2
20/3/2024 08:51 | I must admit I was wary of goldfinger's claim of someone buying into ITV because of the lack of any holding RNSs but the following has been posted on another BB: Hmmmmmmmm ....... | thebutler
20/3/2024 08:41 | They'll have to raise the price then to tempt a few more sellers out or Morgan Stanley are never going to hit their target of spending £235million. What'll it take to crank up the volume? 80p? 90p? 100p? | tlobs2
19/3/2024 23:28 | Disagree. The issue is here the sellers are running out! It's so obvious. | pinemartin9
19/3/2024 20:09 | Justice Let me explain something to youShorting only works if the buy side doesn't want to take the stockIf someone wants to buy the stock then shorters get creamedThe basic issue here is that there aren't enough buyers | marksp2011
19/3/2024 18:32 | Cracking 3 month chart on this bad boy | pinemartin9
19/3/2024 16:40 | jimbull FFS "The buyback ride has evaporated" what a foolish comment that is. WTF were you expecting you clown. This is a seventeen month plan to spend up to £235 million buying back shares. It was never going to all happen on week one, two or three you clown. Come back and give us an update in a couple of months time when the program will be in full flow. Let's see if golfingers meeting in a steamy sauna tonight reveals details of more secret insider information. Yawn. Date of purchase: 19 March 2024 Number of ordinary shares purchased: 1,029,950 Following the above transaction, the Company holds 9,475,996 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 4,042,933,198 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). | tlobs2 |
