25/3/2024 09:52 | Buy back & dividends will push share prices over 116p ( target price) | blackhorse23
25/3/2024 09:29 | Through much of January and February the volumes traded were markedly below the long-running average for ITV. And then trading picked up around the buyback announcement and then the results announcement. The volume again seems to be dropping back to around 30% below that average. Another obeservation. Simply Wall St currently has the "general public" ownership at just 3.7%. That has dropped from 5.0% just a few weeks ago. And is down from around 10% a year or so ago. | huckers
25/3/2024 08:38 | Ah but my Maths guru thinks there is a possibility of a correction in USA soon so he figures 10% cash (or there abouts) might be a shrewed market move - just in case. you have to be in it to win it..... So yes, being in cash might be similar to switching a little bit from USA to UK ... | netcurtains
25/3/2024 08:27 | Netcurtains I haven't a clue, but there is still plenty of bargains/buying going on as the UK stock market is undervalued compared to... well everywhere lol | kelso29
25/3/2024 08:25 | Its like Quantum Particles. When I look at the share price it behaves differently | netcurtains
25/3/2024 07:48 | So kelso29: Is it your view that the FTSE100 will fall today? I met a maths guru down the pub - he too said its time to move some money into cash....(about 10% - to pick up some bargains - "if" they materialize both here and in USA )... | netcurtains
25/3/2024 07:29 | Quite often there is a correction in Feb/March, but it looks like we will avoid one this year. However with the tax year end of 5 April approaching there could well be some selling over the next 2 weeks(either crystallising losses or banking profits). But from 6 April there should be some buying with the new ISA tax year. Then we have US inflation figures on April 10, ITV ex-div on April 11 and UK inflation figures on April 17. ECB interest rate decision is also on April 11, a lot earlier than the FED or BOE, but will probably be no change. | kelso29

22/3/2024 14:16 | if CURY does well, the high street does well, advertising does well and ITV does well... Its all linked... Come on ITV - lets get cracking.... Takeover rumours, big bucks, blah blah, Goldtoe I should get that as my alternative user ID - are we allowed more than one id? | netcurtains

21/3/2024 13:29 | BOE hold the rates , my prediction will go down from MAY subject to inflation data | blackhorse23
21/3/2024 11:09 | Well paramount itself only rose 10% on the rumour so I don’t see how you can be disappointed that a company on the other side of the Atlantic took little or no notice until the rumour becomes a bit more factual | netcurtains
21/3/2024 11:00 | I agree Geck | matthewr1
21/3/2024 10:20 | Do we know what the TURNOVER or Paramounts Hollywood studio is? (this figure will give as a clue as to how much ITV studios are worth) I think (not sure) that the MAX the studio revenue can be is about £3B....... (but difficult to say as so much is rolled into one figure in their accounts) | netcurtains
21/3/2024 10:14 | Feeling the love here this morning. Disappointing reaction stock price side to the Paramount news. "Apollo offers $11 billion for Paramount's Hollywood studio, source says" | geckotheglorious
