14/3/2024 09:23 | Gents , can someone tell me what yesterdays volume was please. Just trying to get a handle on the volume vs buyback etc. Blackhorse…. You’re now claiming you were asking questions. You were not. You said the buyback was cancelled , which was a lie. You say that the shares bought yesterday are not for cancellation. As we don’t know yet , that’s a lie. Be objective , even if you’re negative , and we’ll give you the time of day. Don’t , then do us all a favour and @@. | matthewr1
14/3/2024 08:58 | Blackhorse. Take a reality check, ITV are buying back shares. The market has responded in a 25 per cent rise. What is your gripe, they report every trade.MS are in charge and trades will be reported by them, that's how it works. | slater5
14/3/2024 08:46 | Just filter the idiot. | tlobs2
14/3/2024 08:37 | Ah I see. You are a very ethical chap Blackhorse23... 😀 Nice to see such good behavior in this day and age. | netcurtains
14/3/2024 08:33 | I have asked questions , whether buy back has been cancelled which should start from 7th March . Then yesterday small buy back has been done but NOT for cancellation , it was for directors remuneration, which I think odd? Once they start buy back for cancellation then I will join with them. I DONOT LIKE ANY MISS LEADING RNS, specially in stock market. they shouldn't mention buy back starting on 7th March the. Not doing it. | blackhorse23
14/3/2024 08:31 | I was only joking... 😀 | netcurtains
14/3/2024 08:26 | Wow it’s 2024 and we can’t share links. Ok Google ‘lse itv trade recap’ I am going to wager they ARE in the market again today - can already see lots of odd small ( 10 shares and under ) trades since 8am… | loginname
14/3/2024 08:23 | Link to the LSE live trades recap for the curious… | loginname
14/3/2024 08:19 | Looking at the detailed trades list in the RNS attachment - I’m thinking it ‘might’ be possible to spot days MS is active? Most were random size between 5k and 20k shares which are hard to spot but there were also a good few oddly small trades of eg 10 shares which a normal investor wouldn’t make due to trading costs. And there was also an odd run of about 30 trades with identical sizes of 232 shares. Will occasionally review the London stock exchange trades report to see if anything similarly odd appears… | loginname
14/3/2024 00:00 | I posted this the other day, re treasury shares: There are several advantages of holding treasury shares, including: - being able to sell treasury shares to new investors without having to incur the costs or carry out the necessary procedures of a formal share allotment; - having the potential to restore the company's distributable profits when the treasury shares are sold, as the proceeds up to the original purchase cost are treated as distributable profits; - not needing the expense of running an employee benefit trust to meet employee share options where the company has sufficient treasury shares; - not having to complete all the formalities of cancelling the shares. | davius
13/3/2024 23:59 | that point seems to have been missed on the pleb thread whilst they argue about shares held in treasury and typical behind the curve nonsense | stansmith1
13/3/2024 23:40 | List of purchases todayhttps://www.rns | rmunro3
13/3/2024 22:36 | CURYman is here?... | diku
13/3/2024 21:56 | Guys , filter Blackhorse , another total bellend. With every buyback shares are held in treasury initially before normally being cancelled. It’s day 1. He’s a tool. | matthewr1
13/3/2024 21:43 | Those shares will back to market again like circle, buying for employees then employees will sell. I prefer buy back for cancellations not for treasury | blackhorse23
13/3/2024 19:49 | The RNS has a link detailing the individual trades. Incredible to see how it’s done - obviously highly automated… For example - look at 09:54 when a trade bought just 4 shares! Worth, what, £2.80! | loginname
13/3/2024 19:29 | This was well explained by someone a few days ago, smurfy. Read back and treasury shares aren't as evil as some may fear. | jonnybig
13/3/2024 19:24 | So why not just cancel them? They literally can sell those shares back into the open market to pay for employee share scheme or bonuses. | smurfy2001
13/3/2024 19:20 | If the typical daily amount continues to be approx 3 million shares bought, then based on the 400m guidance we are in for about 130 days like this. Fair play to shorters - you have balls of steel. No - make that titanium. And my children thank you for your inevitable contribution to my pension when you close. You are awesome. x | loginname
13/3/2024 19:13 | ITV intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury. Purchased has been done for directors remuneration. Not for shareholders interest | blackhorse23
13/3/2024 19:12 | Is no one buying? | stansmith1
13/3/2024 19:02 | Everyone needs to stop saying stuff like this. Literally Google it. “Shares held in treasury: voting rights are suspended, dividends are not paid.” | loginname |
