The rise is because of the buyback, no argument.

So ... price is now ... while I'm typing: 72.33p?

But let's not lose sight that this includes a 3.3p dividend which will be taken off the price in a few weeks when it goes ex-div 11th April.

So essentially we are still only in the 6x's

72.33p price = 69.03p market + 3.3p dividend value

A lot more room above!!! :)

Love the optimism Blackhorse. 1p a day gets to 90p.

Considering how good the prospects are for ITV, I'm surprised we don't get many posts from Hades/BOIX. I thought he would be wetting his pants in excitement. Maybe he sold out when the share price was sub 60p?

It looks like we might be in for a long slow daily increase in share price for weeks to come ;-)

And the self-proclaimed experts said it would never happen.

The irony!

So by that logic they should be merrily buying back whilst ITV remains under their own price target?

Surprised they can even issue targets while actively buying. But what do I know…

Like , Man Group announced a buyback in September 2020 . That was buyable

It was similar to ITV in some ways re price area but far different in terms of collapse price

Some buybacks work out well. Some don't

But the ones getting the programme on a "buyback or collapse" price, rarely fare well for a year+ ahead

You only get so long to break a price before they know they can pull the trigger there

It sold off yet again so I reckon sub 70.8 , they can start to work on it

Bulls need to take out 73s prior, obviously

Big market waiting on both sides ...but it's looking like shorters have it right now

"it is also hilarious how amateurs who fall in love with the shares they buy"

That's it really. It's just another digit on a screen,

Buyback has been a few million quid already . No sentiment support for it at all on share price Shorters will have been monitoring that. They will load up soon

it is also hilarious how amateurs who fall in love with the shares they buy always need to justify it - in this case itvx is going to turn the company around - remember itv was around 110p on the day itvx was launched, the plebs were told itv had rerated to 69p as a result, they wouldnt have it....a few weeks ago they started talking about a rerate....they also blame the dame for everything (is the company saving itvx not her baby)...wanting it both ways and behind the curve as usual
