Expecting some M&A later this year. If so it will be 2 years between each of OSPI, COMSOF and whatever comes next.

Just read rhe Cavendish note and it states FY24 is conservatively upgraded and FY25 figures are conservative too. The forecast sales growth does not appear aggressive at all. Sandbagging. No surprise if they beat and upgrade.

GPM targeting 66% in FY25. The figures usually come from IQGEO themselves.

Also expecting positive news before the results release in March.

Just need to clear the seller and close a week > 329.5p.

IQGEO partner Google and get a mention here too along with them. I don't see this doing them harm, possibly some real good. I have no idea how this works out and when I first read it thought it might be a problem but now think it could help IQGEO a great deal.

Increased interest from private invesors on Twitter today. A few bigger names that have never or rarely mentioned them have woken up to this news and the big price rise. An early in the week RNS should lead to coverage in IC etc.

Would not get surprised to see contract news in the next few weeks.
As far as fiber goes, they have shown they can win and be best in breed.
Really looking forward to see any increased traction in Grid from any direction, even a small win.

They are currently advertising 16 jobs across the Cambridge, Ghent, Denver and Toronto offices. That's the most I've seen.

With IQG's growing scale and reputation, and the general slowdown in IT recruitment, they should be able to attract some good talent.

Exceptional results and this could well be an inflection point as IQG has had very low broker, media and investment coverage up to now. In since 123p in July 2021, I love the way that the company has adapted and grown. Now approaching 30% of my ISA value but holding on as long-term the prospects are very strong.

Also made a nice trade on last week's drop and bought at 274p for a 17% gain.

A weekly close over 329.5 and then it can move towards the 425 level and then towards the Cavendish/Finncap target. If it plays out that way the long-term cup and handle will have completed.

This is a 3-5 year hold for very decent return.

Target price moved up to £5. Well above my £4.25 by end 2024.

No doubt many will say over valued but not given what they have as adopted products, at these margins, into utilities with the best yet to come and the associated ARR & GROWTH.

£5 looks achievable.

An acquirer would pay more imho, dyor etc.

Brilliant work by the entire IQGEO team.
Lovely to see the cash pile return towards £11M.
What amazes me is the very real possibility the best is yet to come when Grid gains traction.
The opportunity is real and massive.
Good luck to the patient willing to sit this out to a much higher valuation.

An interesting few days.

Dyor, I'm often wrong but from where I sit it appears the uptrend is still in place.

This time next week we will have had the TU issued and digested and get to see how it goes.

Might even be a bit of news a week or 2 later if not around the TU.

Let's see what plays out by end of 2024.

Grid is where they can prove they are worth every penny plus some and we need to see further traction there. Telecom is good but Grid is better.

There's more going on that we can know, just have to wait.

Should be pf, according to your research.

They have been at pains not to release RNS's that suggest results will ahead of expectations so I will be pleasantly surprised if they are great results. Braced for a bit of treading water but, if they are hit, I don't plan to sell. I'll admit I did have a wobble and sold some in October when they tanked but ended up buying them all back pretty sharpish.
