15/1/2024 11:03 | The overhead resistance appears strong. Once cleared we can move on. Needs more buyside volume. | p1nkfish
15/1/2024 11:02 | Proactive interview: IQGeo Group celebrates first year of being cash flow positive. | w13ken
15/1/2024 10:00 | Increased interest from private invesors on Twitter today. A few bigger names that have never or rarely mentioned them have woken up to this news and the big price rise. An early in the week RNS should lead to coverage in IC etc. | w13ken
15/1/2024 09:54 | Would not get surprised to see contract news in the next few weeks. As far as fiber goes, they have shown they can win and be best in breed. Really looking forward to see any increased traction in Grid from any direction, even a small win. | p1nkfish
15/1/2024 09:43 | They are currently advertising 16 jobs across the Cambridge, Ghent, Denver and Toronto offices. That's the most I've seen. With IQG's growing scale and reputation, and the general slowdown in IT recruitment, they should be able to attract some good talent. Brilliant update! | horseyphil
15/1/2024 09:23 | Exceptional results and this could well be an inflection point as IQG has had very low broker, media and investment coverage up to now. In since 123p in July 2021, I love the way that the company has adapted and grown. Now approaching 30% of my ISA value but holding on as long-term the prospects are very strong. Also made a nice trade on last week's drop and bought at 274p for a 17% gain. | w13ken
15/1/2024 08:48 | A weekly close over 329.5 and then it can move towards the 425 level and then towards the Cavendish/Finncap target. If it plays out that way the long-term cup and handle will have completed. | p1nkfish
15/1/2024 08:36 | Good luck to them. The more weak hand sellers here that go away the better. This is a 3-5 year hold for very decent return. | p1nkfish
15/1/2024 08:15 | Money moving to GNC ( green core group) | blackhorse23
15/1/2024 07:50 | Target price moved up to £5. Well above my £4.25 by end 2024. No doubt many will say over valued but not given what they have as adopted products, at these margins, into utilities with the best yet to come and the associated ARR & GROWTH. £5 looks achievable. An acquirer would pay more imho, dyor etc. | p1nkfish
15/1/2024 07:42 | Brilliant work by the entire IQGEO team. Lovely to see the cash pile return towards £11M. What amazes me is the very real possibility the best is yet to come when Grid gains traction. The opportunity is real and massive. Good luck to the patient willing to sit this out to a much higher valuation. All imho, dyor etc. | p1nkfish
15/1/2024 07:31 | Reads very well indeed, not much to add. Excellent. Just watch what happens when they get traction in Grid. | p1nkfish
15/1/2024 07:26 | bullish trading statement should open much higher? | 1c3479z
12/1/2024 17:28 | An interesting few days. Dyor, I'm often wrong but from where I sit it appears the uptrend is still in place. This time next week we will have had the TU issued and digested and get to see how it goes. Might even be a bit of news a week or 2 later if not around the TU. Have a great weekend. | p1nkfish
11/1/2024 09:57 | The Cavendish-Finncap site now has the date as the 18th Jan, was 11th, for the TU. | p1nkfish
10/1/2024 23:58 | Let's see what plays out by end of 2024. Grid is where they can prove they are worth every penny plus some and we need to see further traction there. Telecom is good but Grid is better. There's more going on that we can know, just have to wait. | p1nkfish
10/1/2024 23:37 | Should be pf, according to your research. They have been at pains not to release RNS's that suggest results will ahead of expectations so I will be pleasantly surprised if they are great results. Braced for a bit of treading water but, if they are hit, I don't plan to sell. I'll admit I did have a wobble and sold some in October when they tanked but ended up buying them all back pretty sharpish. | w13ken
10/1/2024 23:10 | TU tomorrow? | p1nkfish
09/1/2024 23:25 | 9th Jan 2024. "Is ESRI on the decline" - a look back on 2023 and into 2024, in Chinese. Makes a point of highlighting issues ESRI has to face which they may well do, inc the founder now being 80. Translated from the Chinese: "IQGeo – Rising from the remnants of Smallworld, IQGeo provides a platform for those seeking network and asset management solutions. Focused solutions for utilities. IQGeo's position is expected to rise as ESRI solutions struggle with speed, quality and mobile offerings. Stay tuned for more exciting developments from IQGeo. The geospatial industry will continue to see the rise of regional players, particularly in Asia." | p1nkfish
08/1/2024 23:12 | Just seen the news, its an RNS Reach, already in the forecast? Good news anyway. They have AT&T, Cox and possibly Altice already. Is this likley Frontier or Windstream? My money on Windstream. Post 966: I think the win on Jan 4th was Lumen. One of the Lumen Execs, that was also x-Verizon, has moved to Windstream & IQGEO had some input from Windstream recently. Probably another customer win due but perhaps not big enough to announce. Post 876: Video magazine with research sponsored by IQGEO. Very good, top tier names like Vodafone, Verizon etc. "Building world-class telecom network operations - videos from leaders at @SIRO, Vodafone, Verizon, Frontier Communications, Windstream, Virgin Media and more. View them on our eMagazine " | p1nkfish
08/1/2024 10:18 | Another big contract win for IQGeo Group today. When you line up the last few months then things are looking very good for the future. Jan 24: $2.5m Top 10 US Telecom (new) Dec 23: $5.4m Tier 1 US Telecom (extension) Dec 23: $3m Tier 1 US Telecom (new) Sep 23: €8.6m Tier 1 European Broadband operator (new) Sep 23: $1.9m Top 5 Global Fibre operator (extension) Cheers Phil for the mention. I post on Twitter/X about IQG probably more than anyone but to a modest bunch of followers. I always enter IQG in monthly and annual Stock challenges too so that's getting the name out in front of PIs. I'm 1 of just 2 PIs (from 450) to select IQG in the stockchallenge.co.uk 2024 competition so it remains niche. | w13ken
07/1/2024 11:19 | Just have a read of the summary. IQGEO address a core need here for network plan/map/build-out as it occurs with full documentation and minimal paperwork/delay, DER integration etc. Haven't read the book but can immediately see where IQGEO would sit and how flexible the whole suite could be in integrating Network Management along with IoT interfaces as plug-ins delivering data in real-time. What/where/when/how/ If 2024 is the year existing operational gearing kicks in I think 2025-6 will be the year of the Grid beginning to show up. Siemens heavily into this and there is/will-be a scramble for capabilities by multiple market participants, hence the potential for an approach to acquire IQGEO and I doubt it will be sub £4.25. Dyor, I am often wrong. | p1nkfish
02/1/2024 10:54 | CTO might want to consider looking to join Forbes Council and illustrate it's all distributed networks of critical infrastructure that need building and managing better, not just Grid, but Grid is probably #1. Without energy distribution we are screwed. IQGEO can be network agnostic with plug-ins or API customisation. Does this sound familiar? GE can accelerate if they bought IQGEO. Schneider also been looking this way in general via podcast on DERs. "Tapping into publicly available data and other geospatial information as well as proprietary data from utilities, software today can help provide a digital map of a grid system. The goal of this grid map software would be to "see" potential trouble spots, like where tree limbs may fall onto a power line in a storm. "Seeing" these troublespots would entail using this digital map, historical and current weather information, vegetation satellite and other information to determine the risk of outages of individual transmission and distribution lines in an area. Utility companies can then prioritize and deploy resources to specific lines in these areas, making more efficient and effective use of their scarce resources." Right place, right time, right product, right people, right capabilities. Now exploit the opportunity to deliver value to stakeholders or regret it forever. | p1nkfish |
