11/7/2024 11:07 | Apple is targeting a significant boost in iPhone 16 shipments for the latter half of 2024, aiming for at least 90 million units. This might help IQE | ![]() nickwild
11/7/2024 10:49 | I’m not sure that Hannath has any more idea than the rest of us, which is just strength of the sector (that hasn’t helped before). Clearly a master at buying and selling though so indeed it would be great to hear specifics of when he sells as they may help the rest of us who didn’t time it so well, will go back and check past messages from 2017 to see when people said they sold then, easy to say you got the timing right post event ;) As others have said, to get anywhere near 80p or 60p by year end would require a very positive outlook statement in Sept and probably a positive July TU too which I have doubts about. Without those we’re more likely to be in the 30/40s still by year end, even my 50s prediction I see as optimistic. It’s interesting to get these predictions “in print” so we can look back and see who was too pessimistic or optimistic, it’s clear that many here are very positive which considering how IQE have performed whilst the sector has been hot over the past five years at least shows that some of you are a resilient bunch! | ![]() longtallsally
11/7/2024 09:17 | Hannath looks like your timing for selling/buying is first class selling at 158p back in dec 2017,about the same time I was buying unfortunately.buying again early 2024 at22p is spot on.You also think the business case is much stronger now.I would agree with that.Looking forward to any updates from you and maybe your exit price. Many thanks. | ![]() wingnut707
10/7/2024 19:24 | I would go for £2.00 but it's hard to write a cheque when they only give you crayons round here . Lovely to dream !! | ![]() msparky1
10/7/2024 19:07 | All updated. Be lovely to get a positive trading statement but unsure it’s realistic. | ![]() crosswires
10/7/2024 18:33 | With a good trading statement and further good news of contracts, partners or new machines I will go for 85 p | ![]() dockenfielan
10/7/2024 18:16 | I’ve been invested here since 2013/14, buying in batches sub 25p …. and selling most on the 6/12/2017 at 158p. I’m back in again with avg cost of 22p, so nicely up at the moment with no sell price in mind. I do however feel that the company is now in a far better place and more business focused than it ever was in 2015/16, which is why I’m back in. It wasn’t figures that propelled the share price last time and I don’t think it will be again …. If you wait for them you will have missed the boat. 80p by year end is my hope ….. with positive news and momentum … increasing revenue will follow. | hannath
10/7/2024 16:57 | If share price doubles increasing Mcap to over £640m! if it achieves that I would be surprised. | ![]() beeezzz
10/7/2024 16:04 | Feels 50ish to me ... lets save the £1 plus for the 2025 year end :-) | ![]() bing_b
10/7/2024 15:27 | Go on then….. I will pitch in at 52p | ![]() jimboyce
10/7/2024 15:05 | Sweenoid, you couldn’t resist ;) List updated. I reckon anything over £.60p is wildly optimistic for this year BUT i will be incredibly happy to be wrong! I have also told the wife that if IQE gets back to £1 she can retire as my holding is 3x the size it was back in 2017/18, so she’s no doubt going to be checking the IQE share price more than me! | ![]() crosswires
10/7/2024 14:21 | I wasn’t going to but I will 😂 A conservative 80p but that’s not my exit point 😉..which is higher now that it’s obvious generative AI and power GAN have so much potential. I will be very disappointed if we don’t get a CHIPS grant by October at the latest as the remaining funds are highly likely to be dispensed prior to the US election. So much will depend on sentiment and momentum which can never be accurately forecast. S | ![]() sweenoid

10/7/2024 12:24 | I think some of you are smoking something good (or extracting the urine) on your predictions as IQE would need to announce £100+ millions extra revenue this year to achieve some of the loftier predictions but here they are listed, let’s see who’s right come Dec 31st 2024. Will update and add others who choose to predict who haven’t already. £0.38 - nickwild £0.39 - Lordloadsoflolly £0.46 - LongTallSally £0.48 - technowiz1 £0.50 - Bing_b £0.51 - Crosswires £0.52 - jimboyce £0.55 - Tomduck £0.55 - Amishp67 £0.58 - JamesRowe £0.65 - Snaffleclamp £0.68 - Spursspurs £0.72 - Hutchmeister £0.75 - Shrimper2 £0.78 - whackett £0.80 - Sweenoid £0.80 - Hannath £0.85 - 1ultimate £0.85 - Dockenfielan £0.94 - Boleyn £1.20 - 46maxon | ![]() crosswires

09/7/2024 18:06 | Some very punchy predictions here, to get anywhere near 65p let alone 80/90p will require some major news out of IQE in September, which I think is unlikely. However nothing is impossible so let’s all do a “Uri Geller” focus and keep repeating “IQE will beat guidance and return to profit” 🤓 | ![]() longtallsally |
