Another morning with the share price moving into the support level and then up a bit.
So far the sellers and buyers have been level for the last couple of days, but soon the BUYERS should take over and the bounce will start to show.

Another way to look at the chart is the share price is touching the Lower Bollinger Band and bounces back, plus the Indicator Slow Stochastic is at oversold and trying to rise

Crosawires I agree with you. Without any at least top line figure improvement the stocks will not move much. At the moment we are in a speculative territory.

Back down to 29p, disappointing start to the week, 20% fall from recent highs.

Yep nothing above 0.5% for a while now but there will be “shorts” below that notification level. Another week above 30p, but as LTS suggests, we await a July TU to put meat on the bones. No reports of the booming industry will assist IQE without some major revenue growth but the smoke signals do suggest it’s coming…

Whatever Lombard are buying (and they may well be loaning some if it out) and however hot the AI industry may be what we don’t have is any positive revenue news specific to IQE and hence this week the optimism seems to have run dry for IQE and is why the share price has fallen from circa 36p to under 31.

Let’s hope next week fairs better and more importantly that in July we have a TU that details some of this promised increased revenue. If it doesn’t I fear the share may drift lower whatever the optimism that surrounds the wider semi market (which is at an all time high).

I wonder what the attitude is of posters on this board as to the lack of a Capital Markets Day in 2023 & 2024.
It’s a great way to meet potential customers, with both directors & potential customers sizing up each other in communications & abilities. ‘Can they get the job done’ question being of paramount importance.
Perhaps it’s a question that should be asked via Amy Barlow ?

November 2024 or April 2025 would seem to be ideal dates for the next CMD.
After all, Americo is very proactive in pulling in new business !

It’s well worth having a listen to their Capital Markets Day video.

Anyone worried about IQE’s future will be heartened by the dialogue.

In fact have a look at the transcript of their CMD presentation pages 18-26.

Lombard Odier Investment Managers 141,593,743 14.72. (IQE website.) as of 30/04/2024

So they must have sold 2m shares to reach 14.48% in last month or so. However have now bought about or under 6m shares. So maybe took some profit at 34-36p? Or sold to reduce share price to allow someone else to sell at volume?

It's interesting as Lombard have done very little trades in last year.
