28/9/2018 16:38 | Unbelievable how shorters control the share price pushing it down in the last 15 mins of the day. | owenga
28/9/2018 14:47 | I'm not for one moment suggesting that IQE's CEO starts 'twittering', but VRS's 'boss' does answer many questions [by that method], put by PI's and it seems to be paying dividends. PI's over there are obviously pleased that their questions are not falling on deaf ears. Even if the subject is as boring as 'shorting'. Here is a sample: maisto28 Sep '18 - 13:44 - 37169 of 37175 0 8 0 love it! for those who are not on twitter: Neill Ricketts @neillricketts 4 hours ago Replying to @timkempster Think the fca are going to be more interested in the number of short positions opened on Friday to be honest judging by arvfn (sic), I don't agree with shorting, ie borrowing stock that may or may not appear but you are all grown ups -End- It would be encouraging if our lot just said, "We haven't gone away". | regasclockwork
28/9/2018 14:38 | I think the nomad and broker have not served the company well; though you never know -the company may have ignored advice. | meijiman
28/9/2018 13:16 | Itll be about shorts of course, isnt that all we speak about on this board? | cyberdog1979
28/9/2018 12:44 | It a bit like your predictable seven posts about everyone talking about shorters on this BB. What will your 8th post be about I wonder?? | cheek212
28/9/2018 12:20 | If only the share price was as predictable as the chat on this page wed all be millionaires off the back of IQE. Daily comments re shorters so monotonous. Anyway im off for an APPLE, oh that reminds me!!! | cyberdog1979
28/9/2018 11:52 | In my opinion there will be tree shakes galore for a few weeks ..... don't panic. Those who got more in low 80's will reap a 50% mark-up in a no time ... GL | squire007
28/9/2018 11:38 | Their paper profits will evaporate when they start to sell in bulk. It’s all an illusion. The only winners in the end will be the banks/investment/hed | boboty
28/9/2018 11:06 | The end game is the battle between shorts to exit the building .. Baskets!!! But good news when it gets tricky for them ... lol | squire007
28/9/2018 10:46 | What is the end game ? | meijiman
28/9/2018 10:30 | The endgame is nigh... | tomduck
28/9/2018 10:07 | So T Rowe have been busy buying up more shares, whilst increasing the name out on loan. Interesting though that they are only lending 5.85% of the share so I wonder who else is loaning out their shares. | cheek212
28/9/2018 09:19 | I wouldn't say an upward trend has been triggered yet. This current bounce should take us to 87p. Then we'll see. | horneblower
28/9/2018 08:46 | upward trend triggered?? Valiant and Wellington close your short. The real value of share is above 1.20p and we will get there very soon. | mhassanriaz
27/9/2018 20:01 | I agree. Marshall Wace were the other biggy but they've almost closed out now. | cheek212
27/9/2018 19:57 | We need to see Coltrane reduce. They have been in for some time and haven't budged.......yet. | jimboyce
27/9/2018 19:55 | miaow... clunk | adejuk
27/9/2018 19:21 | 9-10% of those reportable - how many shorters under the threshold? It's clear that if a Company has a huge number of reportable shorts, it also has a large following of retail shorters under the limit. However, if the retail shorters start seeing the big boys disappearing, then they get nervous and start doing likewise. That's what happens in my experience of highly shorted companies and I've been invested in a fair few. And once the big boys go, then the price starts to recover. | cheek212
27/9/2018 19:14 | Sentiment is more important to move the price than the number of shorts. We were at 9 - 10% shorts when the price was £1.70 in December. Sentiment is low and IQE’s stoic culture remains. | neil100
27/9/2018 16:49 | Marshall Wace reduced their short by another 0.1% on the 25th. Total reported shorts now 10.22%. Heading in the right direction now! | cheek212
27/9/2018 16:48 | It's an illusion :-) Hope to see this start dropping soon though: | tini5
27/9/2018 16:41 | what does it mean when the numbers are blue, been so long, I can't remember. | twatcher |
