30/5/2018 11:32 | Well he will on one side as T Rowe gets paid for providing the borrow. I have never seen details of how much these payments are but I think they are open to negotiation between the parties. | ![]() meijiman
30/5/2018 11:21 | If T Rowe is buying shares & lending them ,surely that's positive as he is thinking he will make on both his investments. | ![]() joeall
30/5/2018 11:12 | Well said Michael James Value in IQE will be realised when the company has had the time to execute it’s potential | ![]() bocase
30/5/2018 11:07 | Even if it is, what can you do about it? If everyone cries about the markets being rigged then sell your shares and put it in property, or put it in a savings account if that is rigged too. Saying the markets are fixed does not stop them being fixed, it just shows that people want to hold anyone else accountable over themselves when things do not go as planned. Yes the markets are sometimes manipulated and PIs cannot do much about it as they are very small fish, but it is not the answer to every question when you are unhappy with your investments. And even if T Rowe are doing what you say, so what? They still have a £50million interest in this company and will have very similar interests to investors on this board. | ![]() michaeljames1
30/5/2018 10:54 | pi0110 you ought to be more paranoid ! | ![]() adejuk
30/5/2018 10:14 | All this T Rowe and shorters working in cohort is unbelievably naive. WTF would T Rowe want to buy shares in any company with the sole aim to lend to shorters?????? All this conspiracy stuff is getting ridiculous. Go see a shrink and tell him about your thoughts and you would all get locked up!!! FFS get a grip | ![]() pi0110

30/5/2018 09:25 | since lloyds announced their buyback of £1bill the share price has dropped by 4p and they are in the market almost every day. level playing field? collusion? the market is fixed. we all know that and we are mostly flying blind based on research by diligent holders and with no backup from the bod. | ![]() adejuk
30/5/2018 09:24 | I think it is clear T Rowe and shorters are working together and all T Rowe buys are part of the agreement. At least everyone is now clear how the share price is being manipulated and micro managed. | ![]() solderflux
30/5/2018 09:12 | fft: Para 2. That has been my pondering over the weekend, trying to find logic to explain symptoms, rather than based on fact. If they did want to buy more stock, it would be a sizeable chunk and would in itself put share price up and b*gger their ally shorters, so still a missing link to the coniving puzzle. | ![]() dr_smith
30/5/2018 09:09 | i agree fft more reasons for iqe to trumpet their accomplishments and keep the market informed about activities | ![]() adejuk
30/5/2018 08:54 | T.rowe, if I have read this correctly, are both a good and a bad thing.Good because they are buying stock. Bad because, to make it cheaper for themselves to buy the stock, are also loaning it out to those who want to short it. This keeps the price down so t.rowe can buy more. They also make some interest on it.Long term, as stock is recalled, this will be good for the share price but, until that happens there appears to be a lid on the price. Those on this board who say shorters must close before results, AGM, (add own reason here), are fairly delusional. As a bn $ company, things are different. Hedge funds have long deep pockets and don't feel the need to trade every week, month or even year. Pi's don't matter long term. | ![]() fft
30/5/2018 08:42 | IQE have a collaboration with BluGlass Australia's RPCVD compound semiconductor foundry. This link explains a little about their expansion plus the opportunity of investing at 37 cents a share in a fund raise closing 12th of JunehtTps://www.finn | ![]() diplomat65

29/5/2018 17:31 | Probably to lend to Wellington Management Company, LLP. New entry today with 3m shares on the FCA shorters page. | ![]() wattene
29/5/2018 17:11 | Yes the RNS shows they have loaned out another 3m shares in the last couple of weeks and also cashed some. Pity I cannot make the AGM but this is definitely taking the p at the expense of ruining company reputation and robbing the small guys. Definitely one for AGM otherwise I do not see them stopping playing this crooked game until end of 2019. | ![]() solderflux
29/5/2018 16:44 | As well as their overall holding increasing slightly, is that RNS also indicating that they have more ou ton loan (the voting rights via financial instruments has risen a little more than the vote rights from held shares has fallen). | ![]() twatcher
29/5/2018 16:11 | And Rowe continue to mop up the spare shares. Shorters beware! | ![]() cheek212

29/5/2018 13:24 | Solderflux My apologies, I understand where you are coming from and you are forgiven.:-) Besides, you have a nice sense of humour. As to a parenting course, I dunno of any. Perhaps you could start one as you clearly have an interesting story to tell! :-) | ![]() bukko |
