31/1/2018 14:04 | It's not exactly guesswork, they put the info up on their website don't ya know (like companies tend to do in the internet age - take note IQE PR people). - 5pm Eastern time (that's 5 hours behind London AFAIK so 10pm UK, 11pm France). Will be biggest ever Apple revenue figures and there will be no news on the iPhone sales mix (but let's face it it won't be difficult to extrapolate that info from the revenue and unit sales figures). IQE holders simply need to winkle out the AR and any Face ID related comments and hope the US press do what they normally do after weeks of talking utter twaddle about iPhone sales in the run up to the results and quietly skulk off into a corner muttering about how it's the NEXT quarter, honestly, that will see the doom and gloom they've been predicting for about the last 10 years. | hammerd2
31/1/2018 13:50 | The Apple release for the last several quarters was at ca. 22:30 - 22:45 here on the continent. That means approx. 30 - 45 mins. after Mkt. close tomorrow. | yankeekraut
31/1/2018 13:49 | Agree with you Bocase. If one is invested for 2/3 years the weekly/monthly fluctuations do not mean anything. There is no stock without some turbulence in share price on the way up. Nothing goes up indefinitely in a straight line but good stocks with great fundamentals such as IQE will resume going up even in an "ascending yoyo mode". If say we check the share price in December 2018 and then in mid 2019 and we find there is no change from its level now, then we have a problem otherwise, as many sstressed before, patience is the key and the response. If one is a daily trader that is very different. I remember ARM Holdings following a profit warning, plunged to 50p. Its share price resumed the rise a few months later until hitting £11 then to be taken over at £17. | fuji99
31/1/2018 12:56 | After hours us time usually | panic investor
31/1/2018 12:54 | What time will Apple results be posted tomorrow? | michaeljames1
31/1/2018 12:50 | I’m sure you will H2, it’ll bounce in time for a weekend of drinking (assume it has to go up Friday to allow weekend drinking ;)) | richardc77
31/1/2018 12:47 | I'm just worried I won't get to drink again this week ! | hammerd2
31/1/2018 12:39 | Faith and Patience and let your investments mature. The shorters' ultimate aim is to scare out those uncommitted shareholders who cannot take the pain and pressure any longer and throw in the towel. That just drives the price down even more of course and plays into their hands. This capitulation is marked by an increasingly fast decline followed by a very rapid bounce as we saw last week when the price bounced by 15% in two hours leaving those who had capitulated feeling very sick. I have that tee shirt from past experience and will not wear it again. The shorters will have their days and ours will come. Fear not. | bocase
31/1/2018 12:29 | Well its only money. | au24
31/1/2018 12:26 | I have a lot already and bought just over £1 last week, if 85p comes then will add further, I am a believer in having firm adding targets | richardc77
31/1/2018 12:08 | Off your rockers | tsmith2
31/1/2018 12:03 | 85p is possible, Apple iphone X did not sale well, infact Apple is reported to ask its manufactures to reduce production to 50%. IQE share price in the past did rocket and fell to earth. Everything is possible | compnews1
31/1/2018 11:33 | I really hope this 85p stuff comes to fruition, have made a lot of money on VRS in past 6 months, would happily top slice and put some more funds into IQE if it ever gets to this mythical 85p level the shorts bang on about. Talk is cheap but the £1 level seems to stubbornly hold ;) | richardc77
31/1/2018 11:28 | shorters having a last play today? | thecrunk
31/1/2018 11:15 | Volumes low today, probably because everyone's preparing their personal tax returns that are due for filing with HMRC today. | jimboyce
31/1/2018 11:13 | The pressure on the share price is relentless !!! | dickiebird2
31/1/2018 11:13 | 85p tomorrow post Apple Pie! | bookbroker
31/1/2018 10:56 | Volumes piddly The point that they gave a trading update 6 weeks ago is well made. However, if you give an update which you think is positive and the market subsequently marks your shares down by 50% in the following few weeks, it should cause you to question your PR operation. Either the business isn't doing well, the update was badly worded and badly followed up by the House brokers, the share price was already too high or the collapse in price was unavoidable.Personal | mad foetus
31/1/2018 10:46 | I don't know if this has been posted already? It is quite a good summary of the IR laser market for 3D imaging. | maxwellsdemon
31/1/2018 10:44 | only ano 6 weeks of this nonsense. | adejuk
31/1/2018 10:12 | And if you want a definition of “it’s business as usual from our point of view”, then you could probably use “Trading on track to exceed full year expectations”, from the trading update in December. | chippyfriday
31/1/2018 10:09 | Hannath: Precisely. "Faith and patience" Sums it up perfectly. | bocase |
