The executive clarified later in the question-and-answer session that the increase relative to initial expectations was between 25% and 30%, though he did add that if Lumentum could increase its production even more, its "customer would probably take it."

Too much NOISE here for me,over exuberance in bear and bull 1-2 line posts makes painful reading,also I am not interested in who is buying or selling or prophesying doom or glory. Wise men tell you what's going to happen before it does, muppets comment when it's happening.

I am aware that quite a few readers would be 'concerned' if I suddenly disappeared without warning, so I will give notice that this will be my last post until Interims or the day or so before. Since I have no intention of selling any of my holding till it reaches far higher levels, day to day movements are of no significance to me, therefore I won't even be looking at the share price for the next few weeks :-) . I have not sold, am going nowhere , but I WON'T be here.

I have also become increasingly aware that my posts have become too numerous and rather repetitive, Almost the worse offence in life in my book is to be a bore, so I am taking a break.

But I do LOVE the cartoons , well done skinny

Skinny - I think both gaps have been closed and we have had a textbook bounce at the lower level. If we start higher tomorrow, then all is well and we will have established a firm support level. No doubt fingers will be able to confirm that (or otherwise).

You, as a PI, could do the same in the US with Options (sell Calls) if you wanted. But UK/European markets are rigged in favour of Institutions and Banks.

Maybe see back to resistance at 135 by close.
Otherwise only an intra-day test of the 130 level so far.
Upper trend line support near term is around 125p.

Made a double bottom at 1.29 and now on the way back up.

Watch the panicky sellers now become panicky buyers..mind you those who did sell early this morning called it right as a big bout of profit taking was inevitable so good luck to them...as long as they buy back in now!!!!
